The first I can overlook. The second, NEVER!!

The snake was discovered in his current condition, sunning on a dirt mound. He was returned to the same place unharmed.

Yeah, I though those were burn marks at first, but saw it was dirt on closer inspection.

It had definitely suffered some damage/injury at some point but appeared to be on the trail to recovery.

More than anything it proves how stupid warm we've been this fall and early winter. Snakes still out in mid-December??? What the actual...

Hopefully we'll fix that this next week. We've got some negative numbers in the forecast.

Biggest Indigo I've personally seen. He was about to get run over on 59 near Beeville.
I caught him and moved him back out away from the cars.

The other is a Shott's Whipsnake. Mean little *******.

he tried to bite once. After I got a hold of him he was pretty tame.

My experience is about 50-50 with them.


They are more aggressive when it's hot out.
