I've got multiple of that shirt. Probably one of my top 5 favorite shirts.
I know my venomous snakes. It didn't fit the criteria. We played with it for a while and let it go

Felt like I had to balance out what the bq wrote.
This thread has taught me more about snakes in two years than I thought possible. My snake id is now about 70% accurate.
It's a great thread and I come to TexAgs because of the sarcasm, memes and funny GIF's. I just wish it wasn't part of this thread. Some of these snakes are obvious to some posters but for an amateur such as myself I sometimes wonder if a snake ID is real or a joke.

12f comments on most posts and he is never being sarcastic. He is the definitive expert on this thread. I'm not as good as 12f but if I post an ID, it is what I perceive that snake to be. If you want a definitive answer just say, "paging 12f." He checks the thread a lot and usually responds within a day or so.

Honestly it is hard to tell from that pic if it is an eastern black necked garter or a Texas garter and I wouldn't rule out western ribbon snake. But it looks like it got electrocuted and it looks like that guy is probably an electrician.

Well Sean, we didn't know it was you holding the snake and Todd did kinda insinuate it was dead. It would have helped to know it was you and then I would have known the snake was not in Texas.
