On Saturday in Cathedral City, Calif., Trisha Ford's 13th-ranked Fightin' Texas Aggies fell to No. 6 Nebraska before drubbing Loyola Marymount on the penultimate day of the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic. A&M concludes its stay in the Golden State on Sunday vs. No. 11 UCLA.

Grace Sparks struck out nine on Friday night at the Mary Nutter Classic as the 13th-ranked Fightin' Texas Aggies defeated UC Davis, 5-2. Now 2-1 in three games in Cathedral City, the Maroon & White will play a Saturday doubleheader vs. No. X Nebraska and LMU.
