The San Antonio native graduated in the spring of 2026 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a minor in Journalism. She joined TexAgs as a writing and broadcasting intern in the spring of 2026, covering the A&M softball team and assisting on TexAgs Live. The San Antonio Spurs have played an important part in Kayla’s love for sports, as she grew up watching championship-level basketball. With ties to the Pennsylvania area as well, watching the Pittsburgh Steelers is a must for her on Sundays in the fall. Outside of work, Kayla loves interior design, shopping, traveling and eating sweet treats from Andy’s.
