Texas A&M left-handed pitcher Ryan Prager has announced he will return to Aggieland for the 2025 season despite being drafted by the Los Angeles Angels in the third round of the 2024 MLB Draft. A second-team All-SEC pick, Prager was 9-1 with a 2.95 ERA in 2024.

An all-time Texas A&M legend, senior left-handed pitcher Evan Aschenbeck was selected by the Chicago Cubs in the 13th round, 392nd overall, in the 2024 MLB Draft. For a brilliant 2024 campaign, Aschenbeck was named the NCBWA's National Stopper of the Year.

After playing in both the Little League World Series and the Men's College World Series, Texas A&M slick-fielding shortstop Ali Camarillo was selected by the Oakland Athletics in the 12th round with the 346th overall pick.

Texas A&M right-handed pitcher Tanner Jones was selected in the sixth round, 167th overall, by the Kansas City Royals during the 2024 MLB Draft. In one season in Aggieland, Jones pieced together a 3-1 record with a 6.33 ERA in 48.1 innings pitched.

An elite backstop for the Fightin' Texas Aggies in 2024, senior catcher Jackson Appel was selected by the Chicago White Sox in the sixth round, 169th overall, in the 2024 MLB Draft. Appel hit .331 with 10 home runs and 41 RBIs in his only season in Maroon & White.
