That is a nice yellow bellied racer. We always called them blue racers growing up. I have one on my phone that almost looks like a rough green snake, but I don't have a photobucket or imgur.

I did let a possum out by Sumlin's place while it was under construction (knowingly) but the snake went to the very end of the subdivision at that time.

Carps really like the paint roller idea. You can twist a snake pretty easy with one along bucket and glove.
