Tennis has the ability to use instant replay to challenge in/out calls but MLB does not...let that sink in...I'm getting to the point to accept an Umpire's union strike to allow calls like that to be challenged by replay.
Ouch, swept by Seattle. Mostly close games though, decent pitching overall but not scoring many runs. On to Colorado...

This last week got decidedly less fun to watch. Perhaps it has something to do with scoring 6 runs over a 4 game sweep.
Lots of bad MLB teams this year, especially in the NL. As bad as the Rangers are, it's kind of painful that the tank job so far would only be good for the 5th pick with a few other teams close to slipping below them too. That said, they are picking up steam at losing.

When we're trying to win. Trade prices are high. Sellers have the advantage in the market. Lots of teams are going for it.
When we're trying to lose. There is several other teams who are willingly to strip down their rosters way worse than us and lose more. Meanwhile, the trade market is flooded with sellers and the buyers are stingy teams who would rather lose that year then risk prospects to go for it.
Our injury luck seems to be worse than everyone else too.

That reminds me.... I was watching a MLB talk show and they were talking about catchers dropping a knee to the ground and how it interferes with the ability to move after a ball ( they used Trevinos passed ball with runner on 3rd as example) now I noticed it was Heim who dropped to one knee before the pitch and the ball was able to get passed him.
