I said 5 years ago that gambling was the only realistic avenue live sports had to continue keeping attendance #'s up, and the Ballys acquisition just further supports that's the way we're headed. I don't like it, but it's the future.
It works in a similar way that you see people out at Lone Star Park. A large % of those people don't love horse racing, they love betting on a live event. The pieces are already being moved in such a way that you're going to see the official stats and official sportsbooks and eventually the official smorgasbord of live betting options only available to in-stadium bettors.
