It stuck in my head for some reason. I remembered there was something about this in the CBA and it had to do with a bad situation a [player got into. I don't remember the details but it led to that clause in the CBA.

That seems wonky, but I guess if the other team agrees that it stays on their books it balances out. Yankees should have done that with Stanton too.

I had no idea they were going to have them until the first game last year. Definitely cringed when I saw them knowing a distracting, dumbass, annoying mess was ahead.
