After 4 innings, it's 10-0 Dodgers. Yikes.
Do we have any position players that can pitch? Looks like a good night to do that for an inning or two to help save the pen.
Charlie Culberson is pitching.

The Rangers lost 12-1. Charlie Culberson pitched well.

Bauer's issue all stemmed from when he sliced his hand in the playoffs and they wouldn't allow his to use liquid bandage on his fingers because it was a foreign substance. He got irritated because everybody was using foreign substances and they said nothing about it. The Astros were, based on bumps in spin rate, at the forefront of doing it effectively.
At least he's doing it in another teams jersey now. I think most ranger fans probably didn't care for his style of play.wbt5845 said:
Just saw Odor hit a double, then have a brain aneurism and get caught halfway between 2nd and 3rd on a ground ball to the left hand side of the infield. Got pickled and was out.
It really was almost a metaphor for his whole career - great promising play interspersed with idiotic choices.
Tampa Bay Rays ace Tyler Glasnow has a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament and a flexor tendon strain. The plan for now is to try to rehab the injury to avoid Tommy John and eventually return, but it’s a brutal blow for Glasnow, who’s been phenomenal, and the MLB-best Rays.

Tyler Glasnow just went off about the midseason crackdown. He stopped using sunscreen a couple starts ago and felt sore afterwards due to difficulty with grip. Same last night. Says it contributed to his current injury. He’s hopeful to be back at the end of the season.

In his first 2021 plate appearance, Frisco’s Josh Jung singles to left just beyond the reach of the third baseman… and is promptly picked off.

Maybe they might be interested in sending us a few prospects for Gibson?

As a side note, does this diagnosis ever NOT result in TJ surgery? Feels like they are always postponing the inevitable with this kind of plan
