Those aren't the type of game-changing talents that are going turn this team into a contender. What exactly is the point? I'd rather watch this team lose with kids as opposed to watching them lose with a bunch of retreads on the downhill side of their careers. And giving up ANY decent prospects for those type of stiffs would be colossally stupid.

I'm really struggling to see why you keep beating this particular dead horse.
He misses the mid-90s rangers who weren't terrible but weren't good enough to make a playoff run.
