TXB is nice. The food looked decent, tons of busy staff cleaning and stocking, and diesel was 20 cents cheaper than anywhere else I passed today.

2nd TXB has broken ground at Wm. J. Bryan and Nash.
Anyone know what's going on with the empty lot on Anderson near Holleman? They finally tore down the abandoned nursing home.

Because most other gas stations are disgusting. For instance, the 7-Eleven at Arrington/Greens Prairie/Fitch. It used to be a Rattlers, and I always thought it was nice and clean. It's gone down hill so fast since it changed to 7-Eleven. I stopped there Friday on my way out of town. All the fuel pumps were out of service. One of the soap dispensers was about to fall off the wall and one of the sinks was out of order in the men's restroom. I opened the cooler to get a drink and found everything was room temperature. I put my beer back in the beer cave and went to TXB, even though it was slightly out of my way.
Stopped at TxB today. Game changer in this town if they can keep it up.
Maybe others will start to notice?
TXB with the awesome soda fountain with flavors. Great selections, clean store, friendly staff… My new go to convenience store.

My 7 year old is not happy that we're going to miss it. (Hell get over it, we're in the mountains instead)
I'd say poor guy, but I'm jealous of the cooler weather. There will be plenty of time for "fresh, fun, & fabulous" when y'all get back.

Truthfully, didn't hear it ever did. Pretty much every menu I look at says free refills for soft drinks, tea, lemon aid, etc.

I'm just annoyed that an establishment in Bryan yesterday added gratuity to my bill and I didn't catch it until after paying. Her tip ended up being 40%. And she didn't bring my daughter a to-go drink like she said she would.
I've noticed many Asian restaurants only do canned sodas and have to buy another can of you want a refill, so maybe the free refill fountain drinks is something worth drawing attention to for them.
