I found this display at a gas station Friday. I guess it's "high end"?
Anybody know what's up with 1976 Barbecue? He posted his big pit for sale a few weeks ago and just listed his food trailer for sale.

He's retiring at the end of the year.
He posted this evening that he's selling the business (trailer and pit) because he and his wife have the fortunate opportunity to travel the country moving forward. He said he'll stay open Wednesday-Friday until they sale. He stays crazy busy by himself and sells out every day. Big bummer. I really wish there would be more food options for all of workers out in that Highway 30 area. Your options close to all of those businesses and warehouses are C&J's, Smitty K's (too slow for most workers over a lunch break), 1976, and a couple of gas stations.
Any update on the now vacant lot on the corner of university and Boyett? The old gas station across from shiner park. I'm assuming it will be a high rise of some sort.
They did the demo and now it's just quiet. My guess is waiting on permits of some sort.
