Waiting on answers from this show is like waiting on the Wrecking Crew to return. Just when you think it is about to happen, you suddenly realize you are 2 to 3 years away from it.

Ya i know it was just interesting that they said they know EVERYTHING about his aspect of his life.
iceman, this is season 3 so i think they can probably go 3 years with it.
Well, it used to be much easier to track time on the show, but at this point we can probably estimate they've been on the island somewhere around 4 or 5 months.
I don't believe it's been that long. We have a pretty exact timeline.

And I was only guessing. Season 1 lasted right at 2.5 months, and lots of the action in season 2 happened in a very short period of time, but 4-5 months seemed reasonable.

Ben, as in her husband Ben that was mentioned in the first few minutes as missing the book club meeting.
The book they were reading at the beginning was Stephen King, couldn't see the title.

They all have different books in the living room, but when she is outside.. it kind of looks like a paper back version of either Drawing of the Three, or The WasteLands.
i saw in the paper this morning that season three happens exactly three months after the crash. This was my first episode to watch, so like the previous poster i was pretty confused. seems good, and i might rent the old seasons and start watchin em.

They are in a aquarium with sharks? There were sharks with Dharma insignias on thier fins in the first season.
