OK, one thing no one has mentioned yet. When Jack was going to kill Juliet, Benry didn't seem to care. Also, when Jack opened up the door that would cause him to drown, Benry also locked the door with Juliet left inside to die with Jack.

Thoughts??

I think Benry is a bad m*********er

French, Russian, whats the difference. Either way she doesn't have a son.

If you say so. I'm thinking her son will pop up to save Jack and co. in next weeks episode.

Random note: My investment consultant sent me an email the other day. Outlook lists emails from the sender in the "last name, first name" format. I got an email from Henry, Gail.

Hearing Jack's dad say "Let it go" on that intercom system, combined with Jack "seeing" him on the island in the first season, really makes me think he may still be alive. Then again, it's probably just all part of Jack's stress/hallucinations.

I'm starting to think that maybe Jack has a couple of screws loose.
I think Jack is a pretty out of balance, but I don't think that has anything to do with his hallucinations (or the voice on the intercome).

Remember that all of the main characters have had hallucinations on the island.

Also, remember that one of the Dharma stations was set up to research parapsychology.

Whenever folks are wandering in the jungle and hear whispers, the Others always show up shortly thereafter. Then there's the matter of Sawyer seeing Kate's horse, Sayid seeing Walt (Shannon's hallucination), and Eko and Locke sharing a dream.

I think that the Others were either involved with parapsychology research or found and started using the Dharma parapsychology facility, and that the research has created a neural network or shared mind among those on the island.

Maybe the longer a person spends on the island, the more connected they become with the neural network. So while Jack was drugged, they were able to tap into his mind and put together a file on him (which Juliet had), as well as find out what made him tick (his dad).

Just my thoughts, I could be totally off base. Luckily the only way to find out is to keep watching the damn show!

What if the info Juliet got on Jack was just info he spilled while he was drugged instead of them getting it from some source off the island? Jack shoul've asked homechick what the dude's name was? He was so dern interested in his name for the whole episode, then, when given a chance to ask one thing about his wife he asks "Is she happy?" Either Jack suspects that they got this info from him while he was drugged or he will soon start to suspect it. Hopefully the question comes up again.

atealot,

I thought about that too, but how would Jack know if the name Juliet would give is the right name? She probably had a fake name made up.

Is it possible they have a link to the internet? Nothing they 'revealed' about Jack is anything they could not get from a Google search of his name.

Man, I seriously hope they address what happened to that French girl's son, Alex, in the next couple of episodes. That plot line is driving me crazy!

I think the theory that he was the boy in the cage is a pretty good one. I didn't think about that!

Alex is a girl - she is Rousseau's daughter

Alex's present day form has already been somewhat explained by one of Claire's flashbacks last season (she helped her escape the others in season 1).

I think the Others might be like the people in The Village. They chose to seclude themselves like this to create their own utopia. Just a theory.

I don't buy that. I think they really are working on fixing the equation, or at least they THINK what they're doing will do that.

And it looks like we can throw out the idea that they weren't actually in contact with the real world.

You'd think Sawyer would realize they were likely being bugged.

Yeah Sawyer is an idiot for not realizing they were being watched/listened to.

Anyone catch the comment at the beginning of the show when the others discovered the boat? One of the women said something to the effect of it not being a big deal, they will just go around in circles. Makes you wonder if the same applies to Michael and Walt.

Edit: Just remembered the others gave Michael a set of coordinates. My bad!

The purpose of the DHARMA Initiative was/is to adjust the numbers of the Valenzetti equation predicting the end of the human race. There's debate as to whether or not the Others are part of Hanso, but we know that the foundation still operates because of the food drop. I think it's safe to say though that something is terribly wront with the operation.

I liked the show better when I was really in the dark. As in, the first season, when I really didn't know what was going on and the main concensus was that all that stuff was supernatural in origin.

Not that I don't like the show now, that is.
