desmond will die instead of charlie.

charlie dying is too predictable right now.
the show was better when it was just the first few people on the island right after the plane crash.

Maybe Dez keeps trying to save Charlie and eventually does. This debunks the "universe course correcting" theory and gives Dez hope that he can control his own life.
i kind of agree with that as well. we still have the whole fate vs. choice theme with this show.
One possible direction this may go:
When the woman at the jewelry store in Desmond's flashback was talking about being unable to stop death, it would have been the 3rd time that she would not have been able to save the guy with the shoes. With Desmond/Charlie, Desmond has saved Charlie 2 times now, and now that the 3rd time is approaching, it is making it seem like Charlie will finally die. They seem to be making a big deal out of the number 3 in the cases of trying to save someone's life.
Maybe they will end up raising the significance of Charlie's almost-death in Season 1, and Desmond has actually stopped #2 and #3 of the times when Charlie was supposed to die. This might end up meaning that Desmond really has stopped him from dying.

What's the significance of the adam and eve stones?
I'm soooo ready to have "3 questions answered"...but i get the feeling that the questions they answer wont be very significant. Here's to hoping they prove me wrong!!!

Well I'm annoyed. What the hell did they answer? What Jack's TATTOOS say? Who freaking cares!!! They didn't answer jack crap tonight and I'm mad.
Have to give this episode a thumbs down. We didn't really need to know anything about why Jack was in Thailand, and his tattoo pretty much said what we already know about his character.

They didn't even say anything about the kids...all we found out is they're alive....but I'll still watch next week regardless.
This show just keeps getting worse instead of better. If something doesn't start happening in a few weeks, I'm done with it. The keep introducing characters every episode, you can't keep up with all of them. It's starting to get real annoying.
Yeah a few of my friends have said if they don't start moving foward instead of backwards then they're done. It really is annoying.
