I think it was Ben in the casket.

I also believe that it is Sawyer that she is referring to, of course with these writers they are hoping that you believe that.

I also think they should run this show about 48 out 52 weeks a year.

If I had to put odds on who is in the casket, I'd say 60% Locke, 20% Ben, and 20% someone we haven't met completely in-depth yet (i.e. Jacob or someone else).

Good finale.

And I'm glad I got lucky and wasn't checking this thread while that d***hole Redstone's idiotic spoiler was out there. Really would have effed it up. Thanks to those of you that jumped on his ass for being so stupid.

I still am a little sad about Charlie dying. At first he started to get on my nerves, but then I started liking him again. Is it possible that Desmond’s flash wasn’t completely correct and that Charlie died for nothing? When Charlie learned from Penny that Naomi was lying about being sent from her, does that change Desmond’s initial interpretation of his flash? Now if Claire gets into the helicopter called from Naomi’s phone, instead of this being a good thing that Charlie wanted, it could end up being a bad thing…

Kate has to be prego....then she has the baby when they get off the island.

My reasoning is that he is driving a volvo when she goes to meet Jack...who would drive that if she wasnt carting around a kid?

Is Redstone's spoiler still up? Fortunately I missed it, but I would like to see how accurate it was.

As one of the people who read the damn spoiler post, yes, it's damn accurate and it pretty much ruined the entire finale for me.

Hard to tell... Could it be the lady that Sawyer conned(sp?), the same lady that kate helped, then in return helped kate.. That means that was sawyer's kid that waved to jack because she did say she was pregnant..

My thoughts on the funeral and casket: (I have not read this entire thread so I hope this idea hasn't been posted yet)

I think it would be Julliete in the casket. Jack was so upset that he wanted to kill himself over (hop off the bridge). And Kate seemed quite disgusted and didn't want to go whatsoever. That leads me to Julliette. There was no family there and what not because she has been on the island for who knows how long at this point and no one knows she exists anymore. Those are just my thoughts though...

What was on the map that gave away that it was a flash forward? I didn't look at the map.

I didn't see Redstone's spoiler, so I was totally surprised and I'm happy about that. It was a nice twist.

And to the person who mentioned the losties and the others merging, well there aren't that many others left. 13 died in this ep by my count. 7 by explosion, 3 by sawyer and sayid, 2 under water, and Mikhail better die from that hole in his chest, and then the shock from the grenade. The remaining others are probably not the "fighters".

Notice that the wording of this did not say when they would be killed.

I'm thinking that perhaps the person that died was the last of the 40 or so survivors that died since they got rescued. Since they've been rescued each one has been killed and he's heard about each one... Newspaper said "body found in park"... usually indicates foul play (could be suicide but who commits suicide in a park).

And Jack and Kate (and maybe Sawyer if that was who Kate was referring to at when she said "he'll be wondering where I am" are the last 3 still left alive.

Thus Ben's prediction is coming true and that is why Jack is so upset... everyone keeps calling him a "hero", but everyone he "rescued" is dying because he rescued them. Add in the further irony of his 2nd "hero" status for rescuing a woman and son who only got hurt because they saw him on the bridge.

The person in the coffin is not necessarily important... it's just important because that only leaves Jack and Kate (and possibly Sawyer) left alive.

Or maybe none of that.
