another thing i'm curious about is the mysterious "sickness" on the island. you know, the one that Russeau said drove her team crazy and killed, and the one that Desmond's hatch buddy had all the bio-hazard gear for(even though we found out he was faking it).
also, what about the whispers that used to be heard in the jungle?

IMO the whispers are some consequence of "remote viewing", especially given that Cindy said the tail-section survivors had been "watching" the other survivors. It kinda fits in with a facet of the Dharma initiative and the online transcripts of the whispers.

The whole deal with the bio-haz suit was that there was only one so Desmond couldn't go out with him and see what he was doing. Not sure why it was there orignally...maybe to mess with people's minds like has been said Dharma was doing/speculated.
Last week's episode is on right now. I'm looking forward to 9 pm!

That was the lady that Desmond met a few episodes back that explained his 'visions' to him. She was going to sell him a wedding/engagement ring but then told he she wouldn't because that was not his destiny (or something like that)

Anyone have a guess as to who that was that jumped out of the helicopter? Also, if it were a helicopter, i guess that means that the island they are on is semi close to land? Helicopters cant fly THAT far away from land...so unless it took off from a boat i guess the losties are kinda close to civilization.

That's an interesting theory. Although, the girl had ejected several hours before Desmond saved Charlie's life and deviated from the vision. At that time, Desmond probably still planned on letting Charlie die.

true but he saved charlie AFTER the helicopter crashed so it wouldn't have changed that
I don't think he ever saw that it was Penny in his visions. He tried to put it together but reached the wrong conclusion.
kinda a boring episode...i thought there weren't supposed to be any flashbacks this episode...i guess i heard wrong
since that wasn't Penny, who's backpack was that they found earlier with Desmond's and Penny's pic in it? did it come from the helicopter or was it from somewhere else?

What if Desmond is creating his own reality?
That was supposed to be in two weeks, but it was a misunderstanding of some inside information. All the episodes for the rest of the season will have flashbacks.
