In the show's defense...the producers just write the show. ABC, independent of the show, makes these promos promising "3 questions will be answered." I read a story from Damon Lindelof today where he said he was kinda pissed because people were gonna be disappointed about that...the writers did not intend to answer 3 questions with that ep. It was all ABC.

I think we're all missing the fact that there was a damn fine "5 Dolla, Too Beaucoup, Me Love You Long Time" Asian sloot with very nice and gratuitous ta-tas in tonights episode.
This show has *maybe* 10 episodes left before its canned.

LOST will run alot longer than 10 more episodes. They would have to show 10 straight episodes of nothing but Hurley sitting around eating Dharma peanut butter to not get picked up for next season.

This was actually the most confusing episode that I can remember. I feel like I should watch it again in hopes that I'll understand it better, but I don't know if that's realistic.
I don't really get what was going on with whole tattoo parlor deal or why they were pissed. I'm fairly familiar with Thai culture and the whole thing just seemed odd.

i defiently felt confused by this episode too, i think its worth a retake
I don't see the painting from the office in the studio. They look like similar styles, but that could just mean they had the same artist paint the painting in the office as in the studio (in real life).
I do, however, see what appears to be a polar bear in the painting in the office.

My wife and I both asked at the same time after last night's episode: "What was the purpose of that episode?"
What a freakin' waste... seemed that the Kate/Sawyer part of it was just to give them air time... everything they did that may have been important (letting us know their relationship status, letting us know some insight into the kid, their learning that they live on the same island), could have been done in 2 minutes instead of all the time they wasted on them.
And Jack's flashback on the island was a complete waste and uninteresting... (unless the $2 Thai ***** makes an appearance on the island later).

Picked up for what time slot? Shows that are on at 9PM on Wednesdays don't usually hang around too much longer.

What I didn't get was why everyone was staring at Jack like he was a monkey when he was in the cage. Then why Cindy was so confused by his questions. Like she didn't get why he thought it was weird that she was staring.
Most of you idiots have no patience. Go pick up some drive-thru, relax, enjoy the show, and STFU.
Patience is fine if they are leading up to something.
However, last night's episode seemed drawn out artificially for the amount of information they wanted to give us.
Maybe we'll learn later that every second of this show was important, but I doubt it.

The flashback had some signifigance. Jack's tattoo changes.
First he has the horizontal row of letters when he gets the crap kicked out of him on the beach. Fast forward to the future and he's got that tiger thing and some more writing.

JJ Abrams directed tonights episode of The Office. Kinda ironic that his work on another show comes the same week as one of Lost's worst episodes ever.

Observations from last night:
Kate asked Karl why they took the kids. Karl said, "To give them a better life." Kates replies, "Better than what?" Karl then says, "Better than yours." Kate then has this look on her face like, "Holy crap. Karl is right. I'm a fugitive, my life stinks."
Sawyer makes a Brady Bunch reference to Karl that he does not get (inferring he has been on the island all his life, since he has never heard of the Brady Bunch.)
The Others have a really nice boat and Alcatraz does not have a dock.
Ethan was the surgeon before he was killed.
When the Others take you, they feed you well and give you clean clothes. However, you wander around in a half trance.
