When he is talking to her on the sidewalk, you can see a bus in the background. I said my wife "he's going to get his by that bus". From there it just played out. He kept walking closer and closer to the curb, then he stepped off and turned around to talk to her...WHAM! What a mess.

One things for sure, this show has taught me to pay attention to every little thing happening on screen.

The wife noticed in the "catch-up" show, no mention of those that had been previously killed. No mention of Walt or Michael. No mention of Michelle Rodriguez's character. Those were pretty big events to leave out in "catch-up" episode. Even when they had to tell them that Shannon(?) had been taken, they dubbed it and said "the girl" - was this deliberate or in real life would they have had to pay the actors residuals.

I'm not sure about that. I believe they did show Boone. I think they mainly didn't mention the dead characters because they were dead and their story lines had ended and the point of the show was really to catch up new viewers so they would know wtf was going on. I think they cut out the killed off members for time purposes, mainly.

Also, I don't remember Shannon being taken, are you talking about Claire?

I wondered that as well... but the purpose of that show was to catch up new viewers and throwing in dead characters might only confuse them.

There might some weird Hollywood SAG Union by-law that says that since that was technically a NEW show, they would have to get paid their contracted salary rate if they appeared.

Well 23 IS one of the Lost numbers. Also could this the same "room" the Others threaten Walt when he was talking to his dad.
It was a Black female Other and she said something like, "You don't want to be put back in the room, do you?"

Can somebody explain why Sawyer didn't just off the two others instead of locking them up in the cage? That made zero sense to me.

Zap- I mentioned that exact thing to my wife.

So you are telling me the guy with the rifle could hit a walkie talkie in someone's hand who is walking without injuring them from 50 yds but cant hit either of the two people running pretty much side by side from about 30 yds. Its cool though, this is nowhere near the list of top ten implausible things that has happened on that island.
