Probable SPOILER
I assume that Desmond's prediction that Charlie will die is finally going to happen. Sun and Jin were involved in the preview, so I think its finally going to come out that in The Long Con episode, Sawyer and Charlie injured Sun to encourage action against the Others. Somehow Charlie will die. Why they have to tell us someone is going to die, I don't know. The AnaLucia/Libby double-kill shocker was one of the best moments of the series.

Where was the letter that sawyer wrote when he was a boy supposed to go? Think the letter he wrote and explained to Kate how he took the name sawyer was in season 1. Just curious if anyone remembers that letter and the envelope and if it showed the address it was to be sent.
I predict that one of the two from the new couple they keep showing dies...
Has anyone else seen the flashing face at the end of each episode the past few weeks. If so, what is it... or am I way behind the curve on this one.... Guess I need to put the recorder to good use next week and figure it out.
There was no address on it... they showed the back of the envelope that a bicentennial seal and Knoxville, Tennessee on the seal (James is from Tennessee.)

Benjamin was the youngest son of Jacob in the bible. There are some good parallels here. Perhaps we'll learn the same in the show?

Therpin, that face is Ugly Betty. ABC has started flashing characters/scenes at the end of popular shows to promo other shows. It's kinda wierd, but I guess it is so strange that it works.
If you watch the previews for next week in slow-mo, it will give you an idea who gets it next week (or who doesn't).
The person that dies next week will not be a “main” character, and he will be shot in the head.

Do we know who Jacob is? I should have read these threads from the beginning.
Other than he's supposed to be the leader of the Others, not really.
The producers have made it clear that Jacob is the HIM that Ben was referring to when he was in captivity back during Season 2.

Okay thanks. That's what I figured, but I didn't realize that was his name.
So who kills Locke's dad, Sawyer when he finds out that hes the one who conned his mom or Locke because of all that hes done? No we don't know that Locke's dad is the one that conned Sawyers parents but this is Lost and there's always a connection so I think it's pretty obvious Locke's dad is the original Sawyer.
So, is nothing else really going to be made of Jack being Claire's half brother?
Neither Jack nor Claire have a clue about their connection. I don't see how it will come up unless Ben tells one of them.

This episode was number 13 this season.
I think the plan was 6 before the big break and 16? after. So that would mean there are still 9 episodes to go this season and thus wouldn't end until eary June.

They have mentioned Jacob in several episodes...
There will be 23 episodes total this season...the last 2 will air as a 2 part finale on May 23.
