I started following the Lost Experience, but it got a little confusing and time consuming for me. But yeah, that video does sum it up nicely - the meaning of the numbers and what "DHARMA" stands for!

I'm telling you man, all that crap is a red herring.

Abrams had nothing to do with that production.

If that ARG has something to actually do with the story in a material way, then it will be first time in multi-media history a corporation actually made it matter.

Would be pretty cool, but considering the fact that probably only 2% of LOST fans have seen that clip, I'm guessing it's just something to drum up some more interest.

Furthermore, yesterday's Lost podcast indicated that those fans who only watch the TV show have not missed anything from the Lost experience.

That's not to say the Lost experience is a total red herring, but it's not essential when it comes to understanding the main plot development.

Are you talking about a fan podcast, or the official one? They haven't had a new official podcast since July 31.

They are horrible at doing these with any sense of regularity....

The info is from a poster on the thetailsection.com. It's not clear from his post which exact podcast he is referring to (and he doesn't provide a link), but, given the quality of his information, it's highly unlikely that it's merely fan conjecture.

This info came out yesterday morning and it was grouped in the spoiler section, so the podcast may not have dropped yet.

Abrams took a backseat for the entire 2nd season. He's never been as involved in the show as people give him credit for.

On the other hand, Lindelof WAS involced in producing what we've seen. I'm doubting very much that they just made up the meaning of the numbers and the purpose of the Dharma initiative. I fully expect it to be rolled into the show.
