That sub was pretty sweet. I was expecting kind of rinky dink deal.
Locke's 'dad' is the biggest a-hole on the planet.
Locke's 'dad' was drinking the same high dollar whiskey that Widmore likes.
The kids are still MIA. We saw a recreation hall and a playground, but still no kids.

outstanding episode i thought.
i don't say this lightly, but that very well might be the best episode they've done...
answered so much but left us w/ more questions than we bargained for as well as really revealing a lot about Locke and Ben.
also kept some interest between jack/kate/juliette
if 24 and lost keep getting better i'm going to go nuts

I've thought for a very long time that the smoke monster (or something on the island) can take the shape of something from people's past i.e. jack's dad, ecko's brother, hurley's imaginary friend... it's always been something from their past that haunted them.

FYI, Lost has been renewed for next season.
Was just thinking that Cooper, aka Locke's dad, may have tried his con on the others. Perhaps he conned his way onto the island and then they figured out he was a fake?
The boat is too small to survive the open ocean.
I bet that at some point, we will find out that Locke and Sawyer are half-brothers.
My money is on Locke's dad being the real leader of the island others. Regardless, Locke is about to get conned again.
How many episodes are left or even better, when is the season finale?
I'm not sure that Cooper/Sawyer = Jacob. I'd be kinda disappointed if that was the case.

His rash actions have screwed up more peoples lives than just his own. He’s Gilligan, only worse. Gilligan didn’t blow stuff up or get people killed. At least he saved Echo from the polar bear (but then they killed him anyway with the smoke crap!).
It’s amazing how easily he’s manipulated on the show. I think every character except Charlie the drug addict has had their way with him. He’s a porn start that doesn’t get paid.
He maybe connected to the island, but his connection, and selfish desire to stay, is screwing it for everyone else.
And the hamsters in the wheels was a fantastic line from Ben. I guess they had to feed us a Sawyerism since he lost the ping-pong game to Hurley.
PS: I’m not saying he’s not a significant character, and think the actor is doing a find job playing that character, I just think he rode the short bus to school.
So what he's screwed up a lot. All the rest of us are trying to say is his character is great. Maybe we are confusing "his character is great" with "Locke is greatness."

That was just an example. Even if you don't watch the show, you hear on talk shows about the screw ups. That's what is interesting to people. Characters that always make you think WTH?!

My guess is that there is no magic box - when Ben asked for "the man from Tallahassee" (is that the rigt city?) he was referring to Locke's dad. So, he might be pretending to be held captive. How he got there, I have no idea.
