I'm going to give Juliet the benefit of the doubt and say that she is playing Ben, and she and Jack have been trying to come up with a plan for what to do about the plotted kidnapping, just as it looks. They didn't want to tell the rest of the Losties because they want to be sure they have the element of surprise over the Others. The only people it'd probably be worth telling is Sayid and Sawyer.

Why else would Juliet say she hates Ben off-tape? She thought she was alone, right?

Who knows. This show is weird. I'm totally creeped out now. I'll probably have some weird Lost nightmare. Now that it ends at 10 it's too close to my bed-time, LOL!

Also, what was up with Ben closing the eyes of the guy that brought them to the island, was he doing so out of respect to the guy for bringing him or was there more to it?

I don't think Locke is dead. If they wanted to kill him off they could have had Ben deliver a head shot to end the show. The island/Jacob will heal him to "help."

I also don't think Ben will be killed off this year. It seems there is a lot more to find out about Ben, then again, maybe his story is complete.

Michael Emerson rocks the **** out of the role of Ben.

Within 5 minutes of the episode, I commented how I finally liked Locke again. He better not be dead.

Previews look great...its about time the Losties got violent.

On the link posted by Ronnie, move the mouse over the top of the word "oversight" in the second paragraph. You can distinctly hear a voice saying "I have the virus," as well as some other stuff that I cannot make out.

Move away from "oversight" and the voice slowly fades away.

WEIRD!!!

Chasing Trail, you are right about that. I think there is definitely some voodoo **** going with Jacob. With all the Dharma-ites being wiped out and buried like that, I bet there are all kinds of ghosts on the island.

What if Ben is the curtain? Maybe he's possessed by the spirit of Jacob when he's in the ring. Perhaps it was the real Ben's voice saying "help me."

Apparently Jacob can talk to only those who he wants to hear him. Assuming he was talking to Ben, and Ben wasn't playing a game, Locke couldn't hear a word. Then, when he said, "Help me" to Locke, Ben didn't hear it despite standing next to the chair. This leads us to believe Jacob is in need of help that Locke can provide, and Ben shouldn't know about. Ben seemed jealous that Jacob talked to Locke.

What does Alex know about Jacob? Why did she give Locke a gun? That seemed to irritate Ben.

WTF did Locke turn his back to Ben? Sorry, but that was a gilligan moment for sure. He was looking all cool, right up to that point. I knew as soon as I saw him standing over the open grave (WTF is it open btw) and Ben behind him something bad would happen.

I thought Alex gave Locke the gun b/c Ben told her too (as he thought HE might need it and could take it from Locke).

Good show tonight. Ben is one cold MF.

i don't really understand Alex. If she was raised by Ben since she was a baby, why is she so different from the Others and not "brainwashed" with the rest of them?

On 2nd viewing I'm not sure WHAT that ring is. It doesn't look like gunpowder but it's way too coarse to be ash.

Did Ben shoot him with Locke's gun?

Where did the hostiles come from?

How did Ben communicate with the hostiles for so long without getting caught?

I saw an interview with the actor that plays Michael, and the writers told him that Michael and Walt got off the island. I guess we don't know for sure if that is true though.

You have to love the similarities between Ben and Locke in the last two episodes. They both had to kill their fathers to gain admittance to the Others.

If Locke does survive I imagine that a huge showdown is coming for leadership of the Others.

1) Jacob = Management from Carnivale

2) Even though they gave it a good back story, that episode with Hurley driving the van around still sucked.

Oh wow!

Just when Locke gets back to being Locke, they kill him? I hope not. Locke is by far my favorite character.

One thing we have learned about the "Hostiles," they are very much in favor of patricide. Oh yeah, and apparently they do not age. Ben's dad and Richard were a very, very stark reminder of that fact. I wonder how old Richard is?

And did Richard help recruit Juliet? If so, is he a member of the Dharma Initiative somehow? Or the Hanso coporation?
