after watching the review episode tonight, i remember why this is my favorite show on television. i can't wait for next wednesday.

I just finished Season 2 on DVD this week....... can't wait!
I recorded the recap and have been debating on watching it...was it good? Either way I will be tuning in next week for the premier!!!
It was a good recap.
I thought it was better than ones they have done in the past. It gave a pretty good timeline of how things had happended beginning with Desmond/Kelvin stuff up to the end of the season with the Jack, Kate, etc on the pier with the Others. They left some stuff out but I figured they were getting us caught up for the storylines of the first six episodes before the big break. I bet we see another one before the January run of episodes starts.

Rudy- I was going to start it last week when I was thinking there was only a week left before the new episode. I guess MW03 will always have his name on the boards.

so, are they going to be focusing on the jack/kate/sawyer saga and the weird monitoring station, or are we going to be developing some new characters among the castaways? a little of both, probably, but i hope it's equal parts of the former and the later, because they made some radical cast changes in the final few episodes of season 2.
Offing Libby and AnaLucia wasn't that radical and Michael and Walt were all but written out of the show already.
The first 6 will largely focus on the new captives but not exclusively. There will be a couple of new characters - some from 815 that we havent seen much of and some that weren't on the plane.

jack, sawyer, and kate are in captivity. michael's gone. anna lucia and libby are dead, as are shannon and boon. while they weren't major characters, who's left at camp for the story to focus on? charlie, hugo, clair, jin, sun, and sayid (and locke and eko, at some point). i think we need some new characters to keep the camp going, otherwise, it might be a snore fest.
Shannon and Boone sucked. I'd rather have 20 Bernard/Rose episodes and I find them incredibly boring.
AAAWWW...I like Bernard and Rose.
Desmond, Locke, Eko, & Sayid will keep the camp interesting enough for me. At some point there has to be a rescue attempt.

no spoilery... I read the paper copy of it this weekend... just a good review of the first 2 seasons.... giving each character's backstory and such...
they make some predictions for each character, but nothing other than what they think may happen... like, kate may choose sawyer and then gets jealous when jack blah blah blah...
