I'm just sensitive because I gave into curiousity and read that spoiler on another site and now I REALLY wish I hadn't because it kind of makes the last episode not so shocking. The ending would have been a real WTF moment if I hadn't read it.

Just don't want some other lost fan to have the surprise ruined (and in this case, it might even be unintentional...at least I knew what I was doing when I spoiled the surprise and only have myself to blame).

I've followed internet "spoilers" for a while. Quite often they don't pan out. Only someone from the inside knows for sure. Given how heavily that speculation has been criticized, it may be totally off. Remember that Lost employees supposedly "leak" stuff to throw people off.

And if you don't want to "know" - stay away from places where people speculate.

This is incorrect. He's often credited as the voice but the original actor was Lloyd Braun. Braun was chair at ABC and they canned him for creating the pilot of Lost. It was extremely expensive and the powers that be "knew" the show would fail. He only did the voiceover a few times however and ever since then it's been done by producer Carlton Cuse.

They actually addressed that specifically in the last podcast.

I believe something is going to happen to either Bernard, Sayid or Jin either a change of heart, sides, intentions, or a death.

My guess is that either Bernard or Sayid shoots the other two before they can shoot the dynamite. I'm leaning toward Bernard, but I could see either one happening.

So how does an underwater station emit RF jamming? The antenna can't be underwater. Well, it could, but it wouldn't work worth a flip.

I had to watch online, so I didn't get to see the promo. So apparently my guess was wrong. Definitely not the first time that's happened with this show...

Could the cables running out to the station be transmission line that connects to an antenna somewhere?

A.) There's a cable connected to the mainland. The antenna may be there.

B.) It's a tv show. They can have it do anything they want.

I guess B really sums it up.

It's a wizard in his underwater lair jamming all signals from DC to light and conjuring smoke monsters dragging chains connected to a sasquatch!

Here is my feeling on what is going to happen, per gut feeling so do not read to much into it.. I am just glad that I am able to post now that I am caught up..

1). I think that neither Berbard, Jin, or Sayid get killed.. I think the others left in charge, Tom included, to kill the above mentioned turn on Ben.

2). I think one of these two get killed: Desmond or Mikhail. I think Desmond gets killed and why he had a change of heart on the boat and decided to go down to the looking glass.. If not Desmond, then Mikhail. Why?? Because it is his time to go..

Just my thoughts..

I think you are right, the transmitter is on land.. In the preview for the season finale they showed a map of a tower on land.. I also Mikhail is the one in charge of the looking glass and responsible for blocking the signals.

why would you need an underwater base to control an antenna that is on the land?

Seems like there has to be a better reason... like they train sharks to swim around and jam signals all over the place.

Of course... why would you need to enter a sequence of numbers every 108 minutes to keep the hatch from imploding...

It didn't look to me like the cable was capable of transmitting anything internally. I'd assumed it was just used to get to the hatch more easily.

As a "recap" show I wasn't expecting any new information because they're, you know, RECAPPING. I actually thought it was pretty good at summing up the story so far and connecting some threads as well as confirming some things that some folks are still questioning (i.e. that Desmond caused the plane to crash). I think they are showing it again on Wed before the finale.
