If people are sold on Malik Willis like mock drafts seem to speculate, that could be entirely possible. Both New York teams already have 2 high picks, so picks #4 and #5 might not be on the table. So for a team (Seattle?) to jump Carolina, #3 seems like a logical landing spot.

If teams are really sold on Willis, I could see Carolina, Atlanta and Seattle all try to move up. I'm just not sure I buy that teams really want him at this point. Then again, I didn't think Mitch Trubisky, Trey Lance, or Zach Wilson should have been top 5 picks either.

Don't sleep on the giants either. No one has brought them up but they could surprise at 5, Daniel Jones hasn't established himself as anything and that division is weak at QB.

What I'm curious to see are the QB needy teams that pass on one so they can suck next year and take a shot at getting Bryce Young or CJ Stroud next year.

I agree, every year teams reach hard for QBs, so hopefully everyone knows Carolina will snag him. Cause then that #3 pick becomes very attractive (assuming no one jumps to #2 of course).

I actually think that extra 4th is a pretty good pick up. That gives Texans 107 and 108 together, which seems like it might be good for Nick to trade up into the 3rd if he sees a guy falling he likes.

It is exciting to look forward to the draft this year. We have a ton of picks including 1st rounders and almost a blank slate in terms of who we "need".

My hope, however far-fetched, is that the QB hype machine starts up again and a team like ATL/SEA thinks Carolina is primed to take their QB and trade up. I don't see a big difference between 3-10 for the Texans, you should get a good player for whatever position is available. But would be nice to get another possibly Day 1 pick to move down...

I can see NYG, SEA, PHI, or ATL swapping their 1sts and giving a 2nd to draft Willis. All 4 have picks inside top 15, although Philly may have to give up a late rounder to even out with the other 3. Id take that in a heart beat.

He plays for Liberty but has been getting more and more hype over the course of the offseason.

I can't speak to him as a prospect but he seems to be the hot name on social media. Draft guys like Kiper seem to like the Pitt QB more
