Welcome Coach Flores incoming?

Agree. Heard nothing about him until the Ohio State game. Would be cautious drafting him.
this may be Jerod Mayo's opportunity.Snake Jazz said:
Culley is out. I feel bad for him...he didn't get much of a shot. However, I also think the job was over his head and it was just a matter of whether or not he got another year.
McDaniels? Mayo? Flores? Or some wild card? I doubt it's the latter...Caserio is going to pick somebody from the Belichick tree.

of course a fair question...the Texans had a hard time filling the job last year.
why will it be an easier hire or more attractive job this year?
Easterby is still here and the Watson ordeal is continuing.
(except that the Texans have 1st & 2nd round picks)

You do realize why the Texans can't have Pep and Culley be consecutive stop gaps, right?Ag_07 said:
I think Nick has his guy but I'd seriously consider Demeco Ryans and Pep Hamilton.
Demeco seems to be an up and comer who would bring some energy to the organization. Former player may add some fan appeal and get buzz going.
As for Pep give him the reigns and if he works out great you've got your man and if not then he's just the stop gap that Culley couldn't be until this things gets turned around.

Hasn't even been an OC or DC.
I don't think that should be a disqualifier. Being a coordinator is very different than being a head coach. A coordinator is all about x's and o's. A head coach is more about management, leadership and judgment. Being a good coordinator does not make one a good head coach and vice versa. While there is some overlap, for the most part they are very different jobs.zooguy96 said:
