Atlanta's offer is legit

I hope he doesn't. Just pack your shot and leave.
If it's the same red carpet they roll out for James Harden, DeShaun will be there yesterday.BCSGrubber said:Falcons rolled out the 'red carpet' today during their meeting in Atlanta with Deshaun Watson that included the NFC South franchise's owner, Arthur Blank, and the other key members of the team's leadership group, per league sources, and delivered an impressive presentation.

BREAKING: Per source, Deshaun Watson is waiving his no trade clause for the Atlanta #Falcons. A trade is imminent and the ball is now in the #Texans court. The Falcons will turn their attention to acquiring top UFA WRs after Houston makes the trade official.#NFL

FWIW: Falcons’ QB Matt Ryan has a $7.5 million roster bonus due Friday.

It's unlikely to get multiple high first round draft picks. You would have to hope the team you trade him to continues to stink for a couple more years.
What is the implication here? Schefter can't help sometimes but show he's a true ignoramus. This isn't going to impact any Watson-to-ATL deal.Panama Red said:FWIW: Falcons’ QB Matt Ryan has a $7.5 million roster bonus due Friday.

Keep in mind he needs someone to throw to and Ridley is suspended for all of next season. This is why I think Atlanta might say that Pitts is off the table, he might be the one player they won't part with to get it done, but who knows. If they hold Watson in high enough regard then no one is really off the table.Marvin said:
Watson's a great QB. He will make the team that trades for him better. I don't see Houston getting three years of high picks no matter where he's traded.

I think he's saying is that ATL would want to get this done prior to being on the hook for that bonus.
Rumors are Ryan would be traded (IND or TEN) so get all this done prior to that and avoid paying that bonus.
