One of the weirdest things about the lawsuit (among a lot of weird things) is that everyone -- including the media -- seems to ignore the fact that the Texans are already named in it. Every team is. If they amend anything it's just to include an anecdote about his experience.
Flores does not allege discrimination against him in his original lawsuit. he had them listed as potential defendant is a class is certified for a class action case.
he had to amend to make a claim for himself against texans.
Does it not name every team as defendants? I will admit to not really understanding what that part means. Is it basically reserving them as potential defendants?
But I will add that the lawsuit explicitly accuses the Texans of discrimination based on race, in the firing of Culley. How one can accuse people within the organization of racism and then expects to be hired is beyond me. If Flores were truly principled, he would have refused to interview.
That's one of the many reasons why I never believed Flores was a real candidate for the Texans job.
