If the legal stuff ever clears, that trade helps the Texans enormously. Watson is 7 years younger than Wilson, and while he certainly has less post-season success, is a similar type of player.Marvin said:
Good haul in return, I think. Not sure the equivalency of their value- what would Watson garner at this point?
So far, I haven't heard anything one way or another, but it looks like not everyone was on board with the trade from the Seahawks side lolAg_07 said:
That's why I asked about Russ wanting out or being shipped out.
If it was him wanting out of SEA then they now have draft capital for a Watson trade.

Hardin told me he’s doing what any attorney would and “I’m not going to allow him to testify (in the civil cases) until the grand jury completes its investigation.”

He was pushing hard to get out of Seattle last offseason (his wife went public too) but Seattle couldn't find adequate compensation. I'm guessing he has still been pushing for it this offseason but less pubicly.Ag_07 said:
Did Russ want out of SEA and force their hand or is this a tank job?
Texans informed CB Terrance Mitchell, who started 13 games last season, that they are releasing him, per source.

It's the Texans. What makes you think that??W said:
surely Caserio is smarter than trading Watson for 1st round picks in the 20's
Not a lawyer here, but basically it means the grand jury will give the DA a green light to proceed with the case. I've talked to a couple of friends that are lawyers recently and they both suggested that there isn't enough evidence based on what they know about the case.Ag_07 said:
What does that mean for us non legal minds?
The #Texans are signing former #Bengals first-round pick and veteran OT Cedric Ogbuehi to a 1-year deal, source said. He lands in a great spot with OL coach George Warhop, who had him in Jacksonville.
