I'm not 100% sold on this being legit. Some of those cuts seemed very choppy. Like a fan with a lot of talent, yet not a pro, put it all together.

Yeah, I never understood why so many fans wanted me to bring back Benjen. What part of "disappeared, presumed dead" don't they get? All that whining about the graphic deaths of Ned and Robb and Catelyn just convinced me to leave Benjen's death off-stage. Stupid fans, always complaining. I try to be nice and sensitive for a change, and what do I get? "What happened to Benjen?" I'll tell you what happened. He got et by the Thenns. Happy now?

Well, yes, but then he tripped on a stale lemoncake in Flea Bottom while sneaking back to the Red Keep, sprained his ankle, and fell down a well. My editor said I didn't need that POV chapter. I still get a chuckle out of that one, though.

just FYI... three 3 sand snakes shown in GOT on TV are not Ellaria's except the youngest.

Of the 8 sand snakes in the books :

  • Obara - mothered by an oldtown *****
  • Nymeria - mothered by a volantis noble woman
  • Tyene - mothered by a septa
  • Sarella - mothered by a summer islands trader
  • Elia - mothered by paramore Ellaria
  • Obella - mothered by paramore Ellaria
  • Dores - mothered by paramore Ellaria
  • Loreza - mothered by paramore Ellaria


In the TV show:

  • Obara Sand - mothered by a peasant. Named in honor of her father.
  • Nymeria Sand - mothered by an eastern noblewoman. Named after the Rhoynar warrior-Queen Nymeria, the original ruling Princess of Dorne.
  • Tyene Sand - mothered by Ellaria Sand.
  • Sarella Sand - mothered by a Summer Islander ship captain.
  • Elia Sand - mothered by Ellaria Sand, named after Oberyn's late sister.

but a lot of "melisandre can bring him back right?" statements.....

NOBODY knows...but it is interesting that she is there now. i knew it as soon as she left stannis camp. she knew the gig was up...she switched horses only to have that one killed too.

The only WoW spoilers we have are in the Stannis storyline and Daenerys' discovery by the Dothraki, right? Everything else seems to have caught up with the end of ADWD.

Jon snow will kill the boltons. Melisandre sees it in her visions and now realizes it's Jon not Stannis who is Azor ahai. She will resurrect him and Sansa and theon come back to the wall, where he will receive the pink letter.

Well done on baiting us in with talk of Benjen. I thought that might lead him to make a risky decision or something that they base the mutiny on, but they didn't even need that! I so wished we were going to find out if he is actually dead or not.

The thing I didn't really want spoiled even though it's more minor is the status of Stannis and company. Interesting to put Varys in Meerreen instead of bringing him back to KL to see Kevan and Pycelle. It will also be interesting to see what happens with Sansa. I could see them letting Ramsay recapture her.
