Great point. i had completely forgotten that he was in season 1. for some reason i had it in my mind that we hadnt seen him yet in the series.

BTW, on a completely unrelated note I was thinking about storylines in the books and thought of something that is very possible and would be great but tough to read and tragic. What if Brienne is taking Jaime to SH as it would seem and he demands a trial by combat where SH makes Brienne be her champion.

I would suspect they don't go too deep into Cersei's arrest and trial next season or else they will be out of material for Season 6.

My guess is that Jamie will, at some point, put Cercei down, not unlike he did the Mad King, to keep her from harming more. He will die in the process or shortly after, again, my speculation.
But, not before leaving Brienne with child, who will ultimately become the heir to Castlery Rock, in an awesome twist of fate.

Now I kill off characters in droves out of mad, frustrated desire, sending them a stillness I'll never know. You think "Valar Morghulis" – "all men must die" – was just a clever turn of fantasy phrasing? Please. I've been begging for oblivion in the only way they've left me.

I thought it would have been incredibly poetic that she would sacrifice herself to save Jon Snow, considering how awful she was to him before the RW. of course she is no where near the wall so doubtful she will be able to do anything to help him in his current predicament, but still, i thought it would have been very appropriate.

So, Robert Strong is going to champion Cercei, who is championing the faith, or has it even been discussed? I can't recall.

Count on this: Season 5 will almost entirely exhaust remaining book 4 & 5 material, and some storylines will already be moving past what's been written.
Season 6 will be Winds of Winter. It's a sure thing.

Unless Tyrion gets pardoned, he'd be a fugitive anywhere in Westeros. I'm guessing he escapes somehow (maybe Jaime/Bronn help him out?) and flees across the sea. Would Dany take him in?
