The next season certainly should be just as good, if not better than this past season; however, looking ahead to book 6 and 7, I can't help but wonder how the show is going to handle some of the bigger battles that are bound to happen.
From everything I've read, the cgi used for the white walkers and the dragons is a large portion of the budget for this show. Combine that with the fact that 60% of the budget for season two was used for episode 9 (battle of the blackwater) and there might be some serious monetary constraints on what GRR Martin and etc can do with those last two seasons in the show (regardless of the content/battles in the books).
(As an aside, the battle of the blackwater didn't have any dragons or white walkers and had several parts that looked REALLY shoddy for the amount of money spent.)
With all the crap that will finally collide (potentially) in the last two books, are any of you concerned about how it will be able to translate to the screen? This is all assuming the books are finished, of course, but still, there seems to be a lot of big battles that need to happen in the last two books.
