And I was confused by the whole "Ashoka was worried Sabine would be evil" thing. Did she sabotage her training? Just give up on her? Or was she just not talented? Some combination of all of those? Too much happening with the "is Sabine force-attune" storyline.

I think it was explained at the end that Ahsoka was worried that Sabine would use her training to take revenge on the Empire for what they did to Mandalore, thus leading her to the darkside

Oh, I caught that. But it doesn't jive with any of the rest of the information we've been given about Ashoka walking away or Sabine being the worst Jedi padawan in history.

I'm really sad we never find out what Baylan is after.

RIP Ray. You were the best thing about this season.

I was just underwhelmed by the last two episodes. Fighting the zombie troopers looked bad to me, Sabine force throwing Ezra, we're just ignoring the fact that Ezra got a shuttle off the chimera and knew exactly where to find the republic ships, then they just let another one dock like in episode one.

I really don't think Sabine has any redeeming values and I dont like her character at all. She is a selfish cat lady.

Andor. Mostly unrelated to other SW series and films except Rogue One. There's a small bit if customer, but nothing super necessary. It's also some of the greatest TV made in a very long time. Bit of a slow burn, but really outstanding crescendo and overall very deep characters and plot.

You should watch Andor no matter what. It is definitely in my top 3 of the last few years.

Watch Book of Boba Fett... after that garbage series, everything will look like a Masterpiece.

I didn't realize that was the same ship that came in at the start of the show to kill a bunch of people and free a prisoner. And those dolts let it land inside again? I'm beginning to agree with Thrawn... long live the Empire.

The Empire and The Republic are not that far off. Both are inefficient bureaucracies. The only difference is the Empire seems willing to electrocute you for not working in prison.

Right, but is it that much necessary to film. Ezra in the cockpit pushing a button, special effects of the ship zipping away from the Chimaera, and Thrawn saying "What was that?" vs. being able to see him and the ship and infer "he stole the ship out of the hangar?"

I didn't need to watch Andor and Meechi swim to shore to assume they made it from the prison to land in Andor.

Liked the episode. Only complaints are the zombie stormtroopers are all over the board. Slow. Fast. And thought it was funny they knowingly sacrificed themselves. Say what, that's just part of the job description. They always die anyway.

Would have rather Shin found Baylan than go to the nomads.

Well, this is Thrawn. It's probably more likely Enoch told him that Baylan's ship left the Chimaera, and he's all like, "Good, I see you left it unlocked and unguarded like I ordered you to."

Totally wouldn't surprise me if Thrawn put a tracker on the ship and now knows where the New Republic fleet is

Finally got to watch today, and read through all the comments. I agree with a lot of thoughts. Most of the episode I was wondering "where is Shin?" I thought there would be a moment that she showed up to help Ahsoka, but that probably needs a little more groundwork than Ahsoka telling her "I can help you."

...and yet we get Sabine going from unable to slide a cup to tossing Ezra into orbit. Making her be a force user is still the most disappointing thing to me. I have to wonder if that was Filoni's idea of if someone above him pushed that idea. The show, at times, became more about Sabine than Ahsoka, and that was a little annoying.

Ok, I can buy Ezra hiding out in armor, stealing a ship and escaping...it's the exact kind of thing he always does. What I can't buy is after finding the fleet (which, come on, he's a Jedi and could use the Force to find Hera) he is escorted by 2 fighters and lands and everyone acts like they don't know who it is? Like, did he just ignore their requests to identify? And he left the helmet on? All for a "dramatic" reunion? They missed so hard with that. Chopper's reaction, and Ezra's "hey Hera" were fine. Hera's reaction, joy mixed with alarm that it probably meant Thrawn was back was also solid. It just could have happened in a better way.

All in all, I still really enjoyed most of the season, and I did like this finale, but it has it's flaws.

Or just having a brief glimpse of Thrawn watching the shuttle leave, a slight smile on his face, before cutting to the shuttle landing on Hera's ship.
