Goodness, good memory. I'm less than 6 months from 50 and the dementia is already coming for mehunter2012 said:
Ezra gives his lightsaber to chopper when he leaves to confront Thrawn. What could be interesting are the rumors that Ezra develops force enhanced martial arts while in exile in the outer rim.
The first 2 episodes of #Ahsoka are a lot of fun, especially for fans of REBELS and CLONE WARS. Love Ashoka’s fight scenes the most. The 1st episode is written & directed by Dave Filoni & it’s my fav of the two. Definitely more serious in tone. This is some good #StarWars pic.twitter.com/wWOMBYbWxd

I will add that getting to watch #Ahsoka in a Dolby theater reminded me of how powerful and important sound is to #StarWars. I missed hearing a lightsaber fight and the gorgeous score on a big screen. Makes me even more excited for the movies to return. Also this shot rules pic.twitter.com/eQsD7S9uR2

A promising start for #Ahsoka with many cool story elements that expand the #StarWars universe and feel different from Mando. Ep 1 has some slow moments involving a MacGuffin but Ep 2 really gels. Sabine is a standout. I think those meeting her for first time will really dig her. pic.twitter.com/Jzt6GFqkAt

The first 2 eps of #Ahsoka are an absolute THRILL as the heroes of #Rebels step into live-action. The setup for this season is filled with mystery, intrigue, and excitement. Perfect casting, high-quality production, great music - pure #StarWars magic. I can’t wait for more! pic.twitter.com/wq60tQVSns

The first 2 eps of #Ahsoka hooked me. Definitely a continuation of Rebels and it’s worth brushing up when we last saw everyone. I cant take my eyes off Ivanna Sakhno whenever she’s on screen and I’m so intrigued by her character. Would like a Loth-cat to cuddle this evening. pic.twitter.com/SKdMSfdjoZ

The first two episodes of #Ahsoka are very good. It really does feel like Star Wars Rebels season 5... great news for fans, but others might feel a bit lost at first. Rosario Dawson plays Ahsoka perfectly; Hera and Sabine solid; intriguing villains. Adorable Lothcats. pic.twitter.com/vDpHgD80Tw

Just finished first 2 episodes of #Ahsoka and it’s a very promising start! Natasha Liu Bordizzo really shines as Sabine & all the villains/plot set-up is very intriguing.

Kevin Kiner’s score is absolutely incredible in this, really keeps the vibe of the show high. pic.twitter.com/YpKJuX9fWN
#AHSOKA is FAST, FIERCE & FULL OF FORCE. This is some of the BEST STAR WARS I’ve seen. The first two episodes are full of EPIC lightsaber duels & THRILLING chases. Every performance is excellent, especially Ray Stevenson who is sorely missed. Looking forward to more! pic.twitter.com/pUDird4yHq

#Ahsoka is a DREAM COME TRUE for Star Wars Rebels fans and an exciting reunion for my fav characters in the galaxy. I’ve seen the first 2 episodes and while it trades whimsy for more serious tone, the performances & action are STELLAR. #Sabine is perfect. A VERY promising start! pic.twitter.com/IBZ4lzFBqi

It might be called Ahsoka, but it's basically a live action Rebels & I'm not mad at it. The first 2 episodes made me cheer, laugh, cry... & really want a loth cat! Great lightsaber fights & lots of heart. If you haven't seen the Rebels animated series, watch it now. #Ahsoka pic.twitter.com/3Ygo7ncDS8

I got to see #Ahsoka tonight. This was the first Star Wars show to have an opening crawl. Ahsoka is 100% a sequel to Rebels. The 2 episode premiere felt like it was right out of The Clone Wars & Star Wars Rebels, but in live action. pic.twitter.com/duYhtohRzm

First two episodes of #Ahsoka are really good. Even if you’ve never seen #Rebels or #clonewars it’s super easy to follow. Impressed with the action & how it’s all story. No side missions or filler. Can’t wait to see episode 3. Wish I could watch future episodes on a movie screen. pic.twitter.com/x1aEi0DRZ5

If the first two episodes are any indication, the cohesive path #Ahsoka is following can lead to some emotionally compelling and worthwhile battles that expand the Star Wars lore. It’s gripping in every way, but especially where the character dynamics are concerned. pic.twitter.com/VsDV3jltmO

I haven’t liked all of the Star Wars shows but I definitely want to watch more of AHSOKA after these first two episodes. Rosario Dawson leads a cast of badass women with her great screen presence but the real standout is Natasha Liu Bordizzo. Thrilling music & lightsaber fights. pic.twitter.com/fg9LvA9RSK

I think #Ahsoka has a lot of potential. As a Rebels fan, I felt a connection to it that was truly special. And yet it’s hugely epic at some times & oddly flat at others. Sabine is the standout through & by Ep 2 I was fully sucked in. It could go south but I don’t think it will 🤞 pic.twitter.com/9BKgNcgXuR

#Ahsoka Eps 1&2 First Impressions:
— SWNN (@StarWarsNewsNet) August 18, 2023
- Overall thumbs up
- First episode is refreshingly well-structured. Packs in classic #StarWars corniness, sometimes too much.
- It starts off as #ANewHope on TV (with some sequel trilogy flavor as well!), then moves to #StarWarsRebels in… pic.twitter.com/YqhA0nJsfR
#Ahsoka is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! It’s a spiritual successor to REBELS and feels like classic STAR WARS, which I loved. @natashabordizzo is PERFECT as #Sabine and Kevin Kiner’s score is delightful. When it’s all said and done, this could end up being Filoni’s finest work. pic.twitter.com/5VyKrrf8lx

First two episodes of #Ahsoka are real good. Weirdly refreshing to be back to a Jedi story that doesn’t involve a Skywalker. Feloni clearly gets *it*. Has that classic STAR WARS feel. Should be a thrill for both REBELS fans and those who have never watched.

Lightsabers are cool.
I enjoyed the first two episodes of #Ahsoka, and the best part about it is that it's focused on telling one grand story.

I've never watched the animated shows, so I don't know the ins and outs of these characters' backstories, but their dynamics are clear. pic.twitter.com/L6iwc8eoMB
My biggest takeaway from the first two episodes of #Ahsoka is: I need to watch more things that Sabine and Hera are in, because I love them both. Natasha Liu Bordizzo and MEW are, unsurprisingly, excellent. pic.twitter.com/Evex5J74TM

The first two episodes of #Ahsoka are pure #StarWars bliss. This is for #Rebels what I'd hoped #ObiWan would've been for the Prequels. Rosario Dawson shines, but it's Natasha Liu Bordizzo's Sabine who blew me away. Ahsoka is the #DisneyPlus Jedi epic fans have been waiting for. pic.twitter.com/12BYxvS0NY

For better or worse, #Ahsoka is TFA for Rebels fans. Most traditional SW show yet, but incredibly stiff & sluggish. Sadly Dave just isn't an interesting director. Hard to judge off of 2 eps, some interesting master/apprentice stuff, Ray Stevenson is the stand out. It's fine. pic.twitter.com/snUiCFteeq

Inquisitors definitely fall flat. I think a big piece of that is that they never feel like a threat. Probably the closest they get is in Fallen Order where the main antagonist is one, but mostly they just seem kinda inept at killing Jedi, which is supposed to be their whole thing. Them being force users but not sith kinda puts them in this weird area as well.cbr said:
I never really gelled with rebels or it's characters or villains much. Thrawn was a pretty good villain but the inquisitors just sort of fell flat like all the first order bull**** to me.
I did like clone wars though and Ashoka is a great character. I hope they make it great.
