Galleria Day Spa, which used to be across from Shipwreck and Shipley's on Villa Maria, has a new location on Rock Prarie, east of Hwy 6. (I think they are in a building formerly occupied by Riviera Day Spa, but I'm not certain.) Galleria said they also have a place under construction in Century Square.
White Elm Day Spa has moved in to the building previously occupied by Galleria Day Spa on Villa Maria.

Politics and people who have had too much to drink ... what could go wrong?
The website and menu for Angry Elephant look awesome. If it actually opens up, it will be a nice addition to the southern end of town.AGnCS said:
So is the Angry Elephant going to be a political bar? Their sign says "Like your politics, Love your bar".

Well, considering the other party's animal, an elephant was probably the better choice.AGnCS said:

Are you saying the Angry Jackass wouldn't be a good business name?
If the Aggieland Forum Warriors are patrons there, that is the PERFECT name for it!AGnCS said:

Are they changing locations, or are the re-opening in the same location?FlyRod said:
The Stafford is re-opening this week for First Friday, according to The Eagle. Couldn't be happier.
When I lived at The Barracks, they told us that would be a convenience store, but NOT a gas station. As I've learned with most of what I was told when I lived there, that plan will change and be delayed by about 4-5 years.PS3D said:
True to a sign that promised such, it looks like there's a gas station/convenience store being built at the corner of Deacon and Holleman. At least that's what it looks like.

Pretty sure it was just for show, they changed management a few months ago and never closed.carpe vinum said:
I don't recall seeing it posted before, but Bear Mountain Outdoor Gear had a ribbon cutting today. Old Culpepper Plaza, I forget what they renamed it.
