Good news about Snowmass, I will be skiing there tomorrow
I ski WC every Christmas and my wife and I love to hit the espresso bar. Best way down IMO is going to be Bonanza Trail -> Bonanza Crossover all the way down. Just keep staying to the right when the trail forks. There are a couple spots where you'll see green dots on signs indicating the easier ways. Getting to Turnpike requires either Charisma Crossover or Powder Puff and both of those are steeper than Bonanza Crossover. My 7 year old can handle Bonanza Crossover no problem, although we start off the Bonanza lift instead of at the espresso bar.jpb1999 said:
Thanks!
Can you take bonanza trail and get over to charisma crossover to get to the green turnpike?
Or how easy/hard is Navajo trail all the way down?
Asking for my wife as she is not a great skier and doesn't like heights but would really enjoy the espresso bar I think.
I have never been to WC but planning a trip in late February…
Not exactly, but it is confusing. It looks like you are going to go down Scat, but really it just takes a short slope down to another fork with 3 different blue trails and you hang a right to hit Navajo. The top of the slope at the Treasure Lift is by far the most confusing part of the mountain for me. It's almost impossible to find any one specific trail if you haven't been down it before and the map is absolutely no help.dtkprowler said:
I remember trying to get to and find navajo trail and I didn't like it. Was a steep and confusing trying to find it and ended up dropping a difficult blue instead I believe. Maybe someone else can confirm but looks like you have to hit Scat (black) to get to Navajo?.
I'm just looking at my receipt and I only see the 30% that anyone gets for booking online.JustPanda said:
Sims - posted your discount on the reservation you sent me
There may be some hope of a shift to a slightly cooler and wetter weather pattern developing in the 8-14 day forecast window. The Climate Prediction Center at NOAA shows near normal temperatures and above normal precipitation chances. pic.twitter.com/ITyKqIANPF
