I think Jess is begging for Cody to fight for her. She's playing games.

Remember, she's an professional whouueerrr.... Err escort... Err VIP concierge.

Playing games is the #1 requirement of a "legal prostitute"
Poor guy doesn't have a chance. She tells him she wants space and then gets pissed when he gives it to her.

Will all of today's fireworks make it into the Sunday show or will we have to wait until Wednesday?

Wednesday. Sundays show ends with nominations, so all we'll see is how Cody reacts in the moment + DR clips of him Jess and Paul.

I'm now more convinced than ever that production egged Paul on to nominate them anyway and call the bluff. He was boasting too much today about "madness" at the nomination ceremony. Usually when that happens, production has been amping the hoh up. He most likely said **** that pissed Cody off.

What's funny is before he left, Cody acting on his own ****ed his and Jessicas game. When he came back, Cody not acting last week or this week has ****ed his and Jessicas game.

Finally calling it for the night - which will probably be 25% or more of Wed's episode.

Sounds like Jessica and Cody have made up, and Jessica's thought process on the Hex is simply that if he has a reason for her not to use it, she won't. She doesn't accept "to help you" as an answer.

Still a LONG time until Thursday night. we'll see what happens after veto. (weather forecast quiz, which everyone except Cody and Jess are studying for together. What's funny is that Paul is saying 10 brains are better than 2, and those 2 are studying, so there's no temptation to use (when Jess and Cody are in bed)).

What's funny about Paul is he is such a good game player and has everyone eating up any **** he spits out, but he's about as far off on his perception of the house as can be: 100% sure (it's been verified) that Ramses won the $25k, Josh is absolutely Americas favorite player (even though he never won a temptation), Jess is bluffing about her temptation, etc.

I watched the video earlier today of the big house fight from last night(?). I can't remember the last houseguest as annoying as Josh. The way he went off on Mark was ridiculous. If I was Mark, I would have beaten Josh's ass.

just as bunk said production egged paul on about the temptation bizness, they definitely are egging josh on with all these crazy pot stirring antics.

Seriously, who in their right mind decides to start banging pots and pans around?

they do this then cut the feeds when things get juicy?

good job grodner, you ugly dike b:'ch

Paul won POV. Cody didn't study at all or even wake up to listen to for the clues and still got 15 points to tie Raven and Kevin.

Paul still thinks he's calling a bluff.

Apparently production hasnt told Paul much about the temptation and he's getting pissed. He once again said Josh is America's favorite tonight, and also said in an emotional vent if the hex is real and Jess usues it, "he'll" get her out first then Cody after....

He also seems to think he can play in next weeks hoh if she uses the hex... Which I personally think should be bull**** but we'll see.

Paul also thinks someone helped Cody study since he got 15 points in the comp without waking up for the clues.

Paul knows that Kevin won the $25k. He was just saying that about Ramses. And I think he was just playing to Josh's ego by saying Josh was America's favorite.

Serious Lee
How long do you want to ignore this user?
i think shes serious. thinking about cutting cody loose and the question she wants to ask production about the hex is probably whether she can use it after the votes are announced.
Bunk Moreland
How long do you want to ignore this user?
Production will tell her hell no.

And now it'll be role of production to start warping Cody to staying, Jess to using it, and the vulnerable HG's to question talking her into using it because that's what they do.

Jessica is in a no win situation, but there is a lesser loss imo. And that's keeping the target and ally that is Cody, inside the house.

Whether she cuts him loose now and blends into the crowd, or keeps him, she'll never go up or down on the target list of the others, and she only has a real connection with Elena, and half a one with Mark. But neither will work with her against others. The whole house have way more of a connection amongst each other as a group and individually with pairs and deals. She will never be part of that.

So she should take the chance on the dude who can win comps and be a shield in front of her.

With that, I expect her to make the wrong decision again and cut him loose.

Oh, and I was actually ok with Redstone's troll that time. His schtick is so bad, but has also been so consistently bad for years that now I'm happy when he shows up.

Hope you aren't banned for long.

If she does not use it and they vote her out, that would be the biggest two week fail for having that much power. Please let it happen for the potential outburst on Thurs

I don't know this show as well as some of you, but I don't know why you think Paul got help from production to put up Jess and Cody. It was the obvious move. Paul isn't stupid.

And Jess pouting afterward that she's surrounded by idiots because Paul called their bluff... again the obvious smart decision. Hilarious.

The only thing that would make next week interesting is if Jess uses the Hex and Mark, Elena, Cody, or Jess wins HOH...otherwise it will be a repeat of this week.
Bunk Moreland
How long do you want to ignore this user?
If Jess doesn't use it then he lucks out incredibly. But going into the nominations, it was a 95% chance after she said what she said last Thursday that the smart move would have been to make fake friends with them and take out a nobody. He controls the whole house. Remove a target and save them for another week.

The only real nobodies left are Jason or Josh. But Paul is too in love with the smell of his own **** right now, and he's also just as personal about getting Cody out as Cody is about Paul. Paul covers is up a lot because he never stops talking but you can tell with the way he presents his case to his crew that it's personal for him.

But most importantly, Paul is smart and knows the game. He literally benefitted from the first 2 twists to not only get him in the game but guarantee him jury. My guess is he only joined the show if production more or less guaranteed him that, but even if I'm wrong, and he just looks at how ridiculously easy it was for him to get a head start on the house, he should be understand that a twist is happening.

Jessica also is correctly pointing out that the rules of game play say you can't lie about that without production clarifying...so that leads me to believe Paul is playing emotionally right now because he's refusing to read the tea leaves. And that's something he usually doesn't do.

In case anyone doesn't think production has an effect on the game...

Paul and the rest of the house don't know what we know. For all they know she was bluffing. They don't know if she can just block her being put up or if she can halt the entire eviction... and why would he make fake friends with them and evict "a nobody" ?

The nobodies are Paul's allies. If he puts one of them up it may make the rest of his cronies uneasy or turn against him... Putting up Jason?? He's one of his strongest allies. That would infuriate the rest of his team, and make no sense for Paul with Elena and Mark right there.

And that's not Paul being in love with his own ***** That's being smart... that strategy doesn't make sense Bunk.

He absolutely had the right idea. Put Jess and Cody up. Show their hand. If they can pull themselves off, then up go Mark and Elena. It was the obvious move.

Good point on the house not knowing what we know, but with as much as they are all predicting and clarifying with production (legitimately)... They can get an idea.

I'd have nominated Elena and Cody and had someone ready as a backup if he learned more about the power.

She may have still used it but would be conflicted with Elena.

Paul's strongest allies are Matt/Raven, Josh, Alex, then maybe Jason. But my larger point about that was that Jason doesn't have a strong sidekick to go to bat for him. He has no #1 and that concerns me later in the game.

No matter what though, Paul was in a tough spot this week however he treated the nominations once Jessica leaked info about the temptation.

Isn't his putting up Jess/Cody an effort to flush out her hex, just like trying to flush out the HII in Survivor?
Bunk Moreland
How long do you want to ignore this user?
I don't think anyone has said production helped Paul decide to nominate Cody and Jessica.

If my sometimes confusing posts alluded it to it, I wasn't saying that in the least. That was an obvious move for Paul to make had he not known anything about the temptation.

I was saying that once Jessica opened her mouth about it last Thursday, if I were Paul I'd have played it differently. Talk to Jessica and Cody, fake friend them or at least be civil, then maybe nominate one of them or neither. Use his pawns like normal (Josh and/or whoever), because he can still use the cover of not wanting Cody playing veto, so plan to backdoor him like last time.

No one would have argued against it other than maybe Alex. Then he buys himself time to learn more about the hex from both Jessica and asking the legit questions he can ask in the DR for answers... And save his week by still getting someone out if necessary.

He more or less gambled on only one scenario and said "prove me wrong."

The reset will suck for the entire house, so if he somehow successfully leads a charge for her to not use the hex on Cody, then it'll be damn impressive.
MooreTrucker
How long do you want to ignore this user?

He did at least talk about that scenario and had Alex and Matt both volunteer to be the pawn alongside Jason. Then he nom'ed Jess and Cody anyway.
