Very frustrating episode when you consider the leverage Jess wasted this week. Josh makes me cringe and I can't stand Paul running the entire show.

At least tmrw will reveal the curse from Jess taking the halting hex. Does Xmas still have some temptation power, as well?

why would Jess use the halting hex to save Ramses and leave her and Cody exposed next week? She's going to keep it as they are enemy #1 and #2.

What a waste of a week. Take a shot at the dud foursome and if they come after you next week, use the hex. I think because Cody got burned early, he gave Jess bad advice on keeping the noms the same. Really really wasted opportunity.

It isn't when or if it's used, the curse happens simply if it was accepted, which it was.

IMO production waited this long to unleash the curse so they could manipulate what the curse is and how to affect the game based off this week's nominees.

Yah Cody is terrible for Jessica's game. She's now a target since he is back. She should have figured out to do the opposite of what he things after his week of HOH. She totally read the house correctly, but let Cody convince her to leave Ramses on the block.

I pretty much hate everyone other than Kevin in the house, so Cody is still in my top 2. But lawd is Cody ever a dumb@ss.

Meh. With the hex going another 2 weeks the move really isn't that bad. Yes they should have immediately gone after a larger target, but really how big of a target are Matt/Raven/Mark/Elena etc?

Alex and Paul laughing at how dumb it is, but if Ramses goes home that will stir **** up. The key will be to keep cool and act shocked but not get mad and attack.

Let the next week play out and let that side turn on them.

Hoping the hex gets used over the next 2 weeks and it sort of re sets the house after.

However, if Jess and/or Cody stay on the block past pov next week or the week after, every DR session before eviction will be littered with production asking the other hg's if they think Jessica won a temptation and what it would be.

They'll force the conversation in the house

Based off reading last night and today, Jessica and Cody more or less see the Ramses eviction happening. They aren't sure it's going to happen, but they can tell.

Jessica is still talking to different people and they're providing lip service.

Paul, meanwhile, has gotten Josh to start banging pots and pans all over the house this morning to wake people up and act like a nut to rile up Cody. He has already coached Josh to get right in Cody's face after eviction and call him out to stir stuff up. Pumping his ego telling him America loves Josh because he's providing the craziness with Cody.

I feel like Paul has been speeding up his psychological gameplay too much this week, and he's gonna get too big for his britches pretty quickly.

I'm going to love the look on Josh's face when he realizes America chose Jess (and to an extent Cody) to get the final temptation. I hope they use this to make him cry again by informing him that America hates him and wants his enemies to win.

Come to think of it Jess and Cody should play this angle to create a wedge between them and Paul to get them to think that America is seeing something they're not.

exactly. That's why I don't think the "we're going to do what the house wants" move was necessarily awful, because they have a Trump card for 2 more weeks.

Apparently there were clues given last night for the HG's to study in advance of the HOH comp tonight and Cody didn't study at all.

Solid chance he and/or Jess will go on the block tomorrow and the hex will be used next Thursday.

Nah. CBS wouldnt hide a double eviction from the public. They play those up big time to try and drum up ratings. The only thing I could think of is that the punishment from accepting the temptation might be an eviction tonight but that would be too crazy imo.


Actually, now I can't find what they were studying. They may have all just been studying house/competition memory in case it's one of those comps. There were a few pages of updates from Wednesday evening about everyone off studying, and Paul telling Mark & Elena not to help Cody study since he didn't study during the "allocated time."

Anyone else cringe at the WAY over the top level of intensity Cody is during the comps? He almost acts like he's above being on such a silly show but wants nothing more than to be victorious during competitions.

Also, looks like Kevin basically told Jessica about an hour ago that Ramses is going. Told her that the one two votes she thinks she has on her side, she doesn't.

Cody and her then talked and Cody said at least they don't have to fake a social game anymore after the eviction.

I haven't been able to keep up today, are Mark and Elena still in the dark? I know as of last night they are going to blindsided as well. Paul is setting Mark as the next target after Jody, but thinks Elena will jump ship. I think it is a bad idea to blindside them, as it could push them further to Jody.

I haven't been able to watch the feeds much this season so I don't know if Elena was playing Paul when she told him last night that she trusts him more than Mark. She said she didn't want to win HOH and it would be best if Paul wins. I can't figure how how these people trust Paul so completely. Hopefully they will start to catch on that he is picking another target from their "group" to go after each week. First Dom and now Mark. Hopefully his arrogance will catch up with him.

I kind of hope Josh wins HOH and thinks he is going to get rid of Jess or Cody only for them to stop the eviction.

Not sure if Mark is in the dark or not. He seems to be honest to Cody and Jess when talking about evicting Josh so we'll see.

Paul is trying to set up a 7-3 vote to evict Ramses.

As for past seasons 6 & 7 are good, and 10, 11, 12 are good.

Ok so a lot happening right now before everyone goes upstairs. Paul has NOT told Mark/Elena the plan.

They want it to go 7-3 with Mark/Elena/Cody voting out Josh.

Jessica and Cody basically now completely know it's happening due to how people have talked to them when asking about the votes.

Cody pegged Matt/Raven and others because they could not look him in the eye. Only Mark/Elena looked him in the eye. He just informed Ramses that he thinks he may be going home. Ramses took off to plea.

Paul is currently "studying" with Mark/Elena giving incorrect answers to them.

Jessica and Elena spoke. Jessica told Elena what she thinks is going down and Elena once again confirmed she hasn't been in on any plan. Jessica then told her she has the temptation, and she/Cody are safe for a couple evictions, so the house will have to tear themselves up and fight it out.

She also said production told her she can't lie about what the temptation is, but she doesn't want to tell anyone the full thing. She said she's going to start telling people that she/Cody are untouchable for a few weeks.

That's actually not a horrible strategy, because they could technically only be untouchable for one week if they were forced to use it on the upcoming HOH.

Paul just told Kevin/Christmas that they'll let Mark/Elena in on it last second so they aren't "in the dark."

Should get real good tonight.

Hopefully Cody wins HOH to help send the smolding flames into a full on blaze. Two weeks of backstabbing would add a lot to breaking up Paul's disciples

Not sure what he is. The girls all accused him of creeping on them in the showers earlier in the season.

He just seems like a grown up baby. His immaturity is almost shocking.
