He really should have followed that advice. Dude removed all doubt with that answer.

Rodgers with a career .628 road OPS when not at Coors
He does play gold glove defense though
My all-time favorite Coors split is 2000 Jeff Hammonds, the former Orioles #1 overall pickEastCoastAgNc said:Rodgers at Coors Field in his career: .306/.361/.465 with 24 HRs, 119 RBIs in 910 plate appearances.

Ryan Gusto and Colton Gordon are on the schedule to start Saturday’s Grapefruit League opening day split squad games for the Astros

If he throws 5 quality innings, do we call that Mucho Gusto ?EastCoastAgNc said:Ryan Gusto and Colton Gordon are on the schedule to start Saturday’s Grapefruit League opening day split squad games for the Astros

Astros catcher Yainer Diaz struggled to frame pitches last season. Across the past two seasons, no MLB hitter has received more called strikes on pitches out of the zone than new Houston third baseman Isaac Paredes.

Too bad this thread doesn't have a poll function for people to vote on this polarizing topic.Bonnettecj1 said:

So the players will use something that correctly calls balls and strikes until the games are for real and then go back to missing them?AustinCountyAg said:

Asked about Rodgers this morning and this is what I got back:
- More talented than what you see on the surface. He's been a product of playing in a bad organization.
- The nerds have had their eyes on him and think it's only going to take a small adjustment in his swing to unlock something
- Best case those adjustments work and he's at a minimum a league average hitter who can play elite defense. Worst case it costed you next to nothing to try.
- He took Houston's offer over at least two other better offers. Whatever they showed him when meeting with him in regard to tweaking his swing sold him.
ETA: It's no guarantee he makes the roster out of camp and he's not the starting second baseman right now.

Didn't know about the Coors Field thing but makes me wonder how many guys mess up their swing trying to elevate the ball in that climate
thanks fixed,, didnt think that possible either, lolPahdz said:

Boston is going to be pissed when Bregman uses up all their challenges by the 4th inning.Mathguy64 said:
Robo umps? No chance that's happening in MLB. The umpire's union will file law suits so fast Robby boy won't know what hit him.
A challenge system? Sure.
