I dont care to hear people who make a living playing a game gripe and complain in public about their problems. No one is stopping them from seeking gainful employment elsewhere. Same as if my boss did what you described. The simple truth is they have crapped the bed in this whole thing. They (players and owners) have handled this in the worst imaginable way. Instead of capitalizing and growing their fan base they are pushing people away with the infighting.

I don't think it's fair to write him off as DH at this point. He could end up being a 1B/COF. I know the Rangers have a wealth of that now, but a lot can change in the 3-4 years it takes to develop.

Mike Piazza was a 60th(?) Round pick and a favor to his parents. You never know. But 2nd round? Geez, what the hell are they doing? Maybe they're planning to sign 100 UdFAs fo 20K or whatever it is. Who is making the decisions?
Their drafting absolutely blows and has for a long, long time.

check Exxon Mobil and Energy Transfer Partners stock. These guys are pinching pennies by drafting nobodies because Ray Davis and Bob Simpson's portfolios are sucking wind. They are basically heading to full Tom Hicks territory. Watch them cheap out on the $20k rookie free agent signings too.
