Maybe he wants to show he's been playing so he'll get votes if he's in the final 2

The only thing I could think of is that Josh wants to be able to make a better case for himself by having situations, like this eviction, where he can point out specific moves he made himself. He can say to the jury: "I was the one who decided to evict Alex, one of the best remaining competitors in the game". And have that be completely true, since it was solely his decision at that point.

But that would mean that he assumes he's making it to the final 2, which would be laughable unless he earned his way there. At this point I would be surprised if he made the final 3. There is no reason not to take Kevin.

A part of me thought he did it that way he could give that "heart felt speech" and cry again so alex could see he "really cares". An attempt to gain jury votes.

Would've been excellent to screw Paul over at this point. Straight up declare war in the eviction.

Production will not allow it, 95% guaranteed Paul wins the final HOH and selects who he wants to bring to final 2.

This whole season had been the Paul show. Its almost as if they stacked the house on purpose with paul fans for the specific reason of getting what we saw this season. So many house guests that were willing to stake $500,000 on the concept of "friendship". Or actually be content with losing to him because "he deserves it".I told the wife last night, i don't care if Jesus Christ walked through that door, i aint trusting half a mill on anything he says. Needless to say, i'll be going to both church services Sunday.

Paul and Cody seem to be the only 2 house guests this year who fully understand that for them to win, everybody else has to lose...Everybody. They all want to use the phrase "Ride or Die" to describe their closest ally, but historically those who really want to win, will turn on that ally in a heartbeat if it means winning vs. losing in the final 2.

Mrs. Goose and I have watched this show since Season 1 - Ep. 1, and this will be the very first season I can recall where nobody has taken a shot at the clear favorite this late in the game. Every year so far, as one might expect/assume, house guests start to ask themselves the "who would I win against?" and "who would I lose against?" questions in their heads and work to evict people accordingly. When Josh is the only one to openly talk about that, you know you've got yourself a house full of dullards.

Josh wanted to split the votes because he wanted to tell Alex the truth about Paul and vote to keep her.

Alex refused to talk to Josh, so I guess he decided to just vote to evict her.

What you've described is exactly why I think Paul might lose to an angry jury. This pack of morons refused to play the game, each of them assuming this nasty little troll had their best interests at heart. That's why you're seeing so many of them giving angry interviews. In the past, most evictees leave the house with the understanding that it's a game and only one person can win. I anticipate a much bigger Paul backlash from the jury than we've ever seen on this show. Especially when he doesn't have the chance to pull them aside one on one and feed them his line of BS.

This season has felt like a case study you read about in a elective intro to psych class. Almost the Milgram experiment where people know they are doing something wrong but continue on because of authority's command.

Alex was disappointing because you know she could win comps, she was just too naive and stupid.

Raven and Matt were the worst players ever.... lost every comp, played around with each other and their only game play involved doing what Paul told them to do.

The "questions the jury has agreed to" will take care of that for Paul.

The entire season was rigged for Paul from the very beginning. Will be voting for Cody when I think about it. Will only chime in at the end of the last episode to see the announced winner. If Paul wins, will turn it off and be done with it. This is the first time that I have completely abandoned a season since the very beginning including feed sites and don't miss it.

Hope we get a nice Jury segment on tonight's episode. We have had 4 houseguests evicted since the last time we saw it. I feel like prior seasons showed the jury more often, or am I just misremembering?

yeah i'd rather watch the jury over Josh crying over spilled milk.

Couple things about the eviction tonight. I think Josh will be evicted primarily because he's more of a threat to
Paul to possibly win final HOH. that said, evicting him tonight gives him more time in the jury house to poison the well for Paul because he knows all of Paul's manipulations. On the other hand, leaving Kevin in, if somehow he was able to get to final 2 (way way longshot), I could see him winning a angry jury vote over Paul because while he didn't play a good game comp wise, he was seemingly well liked by most of the house guests and was trying to warm up to several of them right before their evictions.

I hope Paul loses but its not looking likely.

Paul plans on taking Josh to the final two so, unless Paul changes his mind, Josh will stay. He likely would be better off evicting Josh, but he thinks Josh is such a joke that no one would vote for him.

No one would vote for Josh. He was an immature attack dog. No one respects or likes him.

I think Kevin beats Paul easily.

I have no idea how Hanukkah would fair vs Paul.

No one is beating Paul this season in final two, however I'm not sure why he would take Josh over Christmas. Considering Christmas has done nothing.

I'm really hoping Josh wins and takes Christmas. That would be amazing

Christmas hasn't done much but neither had Nicole and she beat Paul.

Even though most people put aside their feelings by final two and vote for who had the best game, I really think the jury is going to be PISSED at Paul. That said, none of them would vote for Josh over him. Christmas... yeah I could see it. And I think Paul knows that. He won't dare make the same mistake that he did last year (at least I think not)

I thought the same thing last night. I suspect that, other than Matt's plan to attack Cody...which I guarantee never happened...the jury house is just more of the SOS of the hamsters being stupid.

The risk isn't that Josh could beat Paul in a jury vote because, like y'all said, he couldn't. The risk is due to the fact that Josh is the only person who wouldn't take Paul to the final two. His final two is with Christmas. If Paul evicts Josh this HoH, he wins. Kevin and Christmas would both take Paul to the final two and Kevin is a a worse competitor than Josh. If Paul doesn't win the final HoH, he's in danger.

Just a reminder, all of Paul's minions in jury (save Jason) hate Kevin. They'd have to suddenly hate Paul more to vote against him.

I want Paul to win this season. Everyone else is a joke. He played the best, he should win. And I hate everyone else more than him, except for Kevin. But Kevin didn't do **** in the game. If Paul loses a jury vote, all the people who say the better player always wins need to shut the hell up.
AcctAg11

I would be very surprised if there wasn't close to a unanimous vote for Paul by the jury, regardless of who he brings. Paul almost certainly has Cody, Elena, Mark, Alex, Matt, Raven, Xmas (if she's there). The question marks in my mind are Jason, Josh and Kevin. The first 2 because they might be bitter against Paul still. Josh and Kevin might also vote Xmas over Paul in the final 2. I think Kevin goes with Paul if it's Paul vs Josh.

Of course, seeing how the jury acts in the next few episodes could change that.

Watching Raven claim to be the puppet master in the house was like this funny but also sad experience for me because it's hilarious how truly stupid and delusional she is, but also I legitimately think she has a mental illness and needs significant treatment.

So lot of jury house tonight. Tone seems to be against Paul but Alex hedged a bit telling Jason "that's the game" after Jason pretty much indicated he wasn't voting for Paul. Mark also seems to be leaning away from Paul as well.

Mark will come around by vote time, because he s a fan of the game. He won't vote for someone who did nothing in the game.

I assume the comps are the same day every week so it is just a math game.
