Speechless. Literally speechless after ‘Dune’. #venezia78 #wow

I left DUNE shaking. This is how people seeing 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY back in 1968 for the first time must have felt. The grandeur of this thing is off the charts. However blown away you think you’re going to be, multiply it by ten. #Venezia78

Look, I'm excited for Dune, I love the source material, and the film looks amazing. But I am seeing some straight up insane hyperbole on how good the film is that will not do it any favors with general audiences. Dial it down people, you're setting some ridiculous expectations.

DUNE (2021): this is the moment Quebecois filmmaker Denis Villeneuve has been working towards for the last 20 years - nay, that cinema has been working towards for the last century-plus. A new dialect of the form has been forged, and its as valuable as spice. #Venezia78

the first half of "Song of the Sisters" is hideous so far... sounds like screeching nuns reeeeing to house music... but I suppose that's intended based on the Bene Gesserit fro mthe books.TCTTS said:The @DuneMovie Sketchbook has arrived. 🌘 Listen to the extended, immersive musical explorations from the #DuneMovie score and get a taste of what's in store at https://t.co/DKaOAJAvFB now. pic.twitter.com/wkXWvBU2yh

I have seen #Dune, and all I’ll say for now is that Charlotte Rampling makes the most of her 1.5 scenes—she is absolutely TERRIFYING
— Cameron Scheetz (@cameronscheetz) September 3, 2021
Jason Momoa is also cool & charismatic. Some will find the movie frustrating at times for not being a Hollywood popcorn thrillride but then again, it wouldn't be Dune or a Villeneuve movie if it was. https://t.co/4dfmZlxYz7

Dune is stunning but it’s not just about the spectacle - the performances are so heartfelt and urgent. In particular, Timothée Chalamet and Rebecca Ferguson are fantastic.

#Dune is the spectacle it promises to be.

Some sequences move very slowly. Some move quickly and are tremendously engaging.
Gorgeous sets and costumes. Top-notch world-building. Hans Zimmer's music is brilliant. It's insanely ambitious and very artistic. pic.twitter.com/NsU1cuwv3e
Denis Villeneuve's Dune is the best possible adaptation of one of science fiction's most iconic works. It's the one you've awaited for over five decades. The talented filmmakers and jaw-dropping cast have done it justice.

Our review: https://t.co/zlo8hjujsm pic.twitter.com/ZxSsiGPWdl
#Dune is unlike most of Denis Villeneuve’s other films, in that it’s heavily action-focused. Despite this, it’s very entertaining and definitely calls for a sequel. Chalamet is great, but it’s Ferguson who shines brightest. It’s certainly a film that audiences will remember. pic.twitter.com/yVafZeWN8h

Stand outs were #OscarIsaac #JasonMomoa & @RealChalamet absolutely crushed the thoroughly complex role of Paul Atreides with such dedication.
