I received no shipping notices but Ben contacted me saying I should have received the router and I never did. I sent him that info and haven't heard back.

Late to the party here. Just installed AT&T Gigapower and looking to get in on the Orbi program.

Too late for this?

I currently have the Netgear X6 8000 Blackhawk router and the AC 1900 Wifi Extender and I am looking for more performance.

Well, welcome to TexAgs. Not sure if you've read through the thread, but when Amazon changed their review policies the program was scaled way back. To answer your question - yes, unfortunately it's too late to get in on it.

I got selected from the first round and received the Orbi RBK43. I think they send you the appropriate unit based it on your survey response. One of the questions was "how big is your house".

It's a great system. Replaced the top of the line Nighthawk and outperformed it in every test I ran. Also expanded my network significantly.

I don't think you can. Each satellite has a power button. If you power it off, it won't accept the wifi signal from the router (mother ship) so you wouldn't be able to use the Ethernet ports.

I looked in the admin menus and couldn't see a setting that would allow you to disable the wifi on a particular satellite.
