I got the appliance and agree, it is pretty slow. Things seemed to speed up after upgrading the firmware, so you might give that a try. The console port might be a viable option for configuration if the web interface is too slow, I haven't had much time to play with it either, though.

Sorry, I should have been more clear and said "I'd hate to ding it for that if the fault is something I'm doing". If it is really this slow my review will definitely reflect that.

did my R8000 review a couple days ago. 4*. Had to dock 1* and will continue to do so as long as they don't update their terrible UI. I'm running both Netgear and ASUS in my house and the ASUS is lightyears ahead.
(Though I suppose people would say the exterior design of the R8000 is lightyears ahead! It looks awesome.)

Hey guys, I have an update for you all.

Meng has only been taking care of about half of Marynel's responsibilities. We just hired the other half and she starts really soon.

Because of all of the change in responsibilities/resources, the program has been a little slow this quarter.

the good news is that as I look forward to early Q3, we have about 9 or 10 new products launching, plus some legacy products that we'll be putting into the program.

So hang on, there will be a slew of new products to test very soon (3-6 weeks).
