My hype is at full on 11 now. I would put it at a level a little less than TPM, but it's approaching my excitement for TFA.

On a scale of 1-10, I was at a 10 for TPM. Probably a 9.5 for TFA. I'm around a 9 right now for TLJ, but I'm getting more and more excited each day.
For TFA, I was at a 10 in the years/months leading up it, at an 8 after the first reviews hit the week of release, then ended at probably a 6.5 after I finally saw it.
For TLJ, I've been at an 8 in the months leading up to it, am at a 9 now with word-of-mouth, and imagine I'll be at anywhere from 8-10 on the final product.
So likely more of an even keel and less of a variance for TLJ.

TPM was max hype because it was the first "new" Star Wars and it was telling the story of Darth Vader, probably my favorite movie villain of all time.
TFA was really exciting since it was a restart for the franchise and the possibilities were endless.

That's interesting you dropped to an 8 for TFA after the reviews came out. I may not be remembering it accurately, but I recall glowing initial reviews.
There were glowing reviews for like an hour after the initial premiere screening. But then over the course of the next 24 hours or so, it became pretty apparent that it had a bunch of flaws. At least via the critics/journalists I follow.
Same. Have never and will never be more hyped than I was for TPM. TFA didn't even come close.

I don't see how anything could ever have more hype than TPM. It was everywhere. In a time when we fotnmost our movie information from Entertainment Tonight, and the internet was mostly just porn and chat rooms, TPM was on the cover of every magazine, every news show. If it wasn't for Texags, I wouldn't have even known that much about TFA. Not saying that there wasn't a lot of hype for it, just nowhere near what it was for TPM

Anyone else find it odd that Snoke isn't present on any of the posters? You'd think the "big bad" would at least make it somewhere on one of these.

Besides, he's ugly and the general public doesn't really know what he looks like besides the couple seconds from one of the trailers.
I guess that Rose character is going to get a lot of screen time in this movie.

Has probably been covered ad nauseam on this thread but I love the music for the newest generation movie teaser/trailer/TV spots. The Rogue One music is still tops for me - listening to the extracted version below almost tells the whole story with the sound effects left in. Darkness leading into chaos, struggle, desperation and then...Vader. Maximum hype.

almost certainly...because he does not have the black scar things on his face (from TFA) for one thing...also hair appears shorter.
