I would love if Disney just kept throwing Captain Phasma in some form of trash heap every film. Then keep trying to revive the original hype around the character as they are now. It would be an awesome meta-arc for this Marketing Department developed character.

The final TFA trailer dropped during Monday Night Football, so the final TLJ trailer dropping during an episode of Rebels seems like a huge step down. That said, Rebels premieres on Monday, October 16, so maybe there's a scenario where the trailer debuts across multiple Disney-owned channels - ESPN and Disney XD - on both MNF and Rebels? The date sounds about right - the final TFA trailer debuted on October 19 and the final Rogue One trailer debuted on October 13 - so the 16th is definitely in the ballpark.

Yeah, but that doesn't mean the last Force-User, or that the Jedi dogma (wholly or partially) will be kaput...

It just means that the Jedi dogma / code will change and the new order that will replace it won't be called "jedi" anymore (if any Order replaces it at all).

Luke may be The Last Jedi. But he also might be The First "Jhaddai"
