I wonder if that's because Murray is running the point with Parker out tonight. There's times when Murray looks good and there are times when he's inconsistent. Granted he's getting experience. Good win in Portland though. The Spurs always have a hard time there.

Everyone was turning it over, not just Murray.

Unrelated note, it's amazing how 40 year old Manu is still one of the better defenders on the court in any given game. He had several clutch defensive plays in the last couple minutes that helped seal the game.

Agree. Can't wait until we finally have a fully healthy team. The good thing in this is guys like Anderson, Forbes and Murray are getting more experience. I'm hoping when the team is healthy these same guys can play with that high intensity when called upon.

Yeah I think it has been tough for them to get a good rhythm with the injuries and players being in and out of the starting lineup. Like you said, once everyone gets back and healthy it should get better. With Kawhi on a minutes limit it's hard to get any consistency yet.

In between Aldridge free throws Anderson came in but it looked unclear if he was coming in for Gasol or Gay. Gasol came out but you could see coach Messina and Udoka on the sidelines talking about it. Obviously, there was some miscommunication. I thought that was strange because you don't see that from the Spurs let alone with 15 seconds left.

The next timeout is where you see Anderson and Messina talking and it looks like Anderson told Messina, "You told me Pau." Was pretty cool to see Anderson and Messina squash that right away in the next clip.

I'm glad Kyle is back and his injury wasn't serious. I think if the Spurs make a run this year, and I think they will, he will be a big part of it. He's a good rebounder, his length is disruptive on defense and the offense runs better when he is on the court. He will never be a superstar in this league but he could be a really big role player.

We all hate the rockets.

But to be fair, if you go back and look at our off season thread most of our conversations are the same way. How do we beat the warriors, does the player put us closer to the warriors, etc.
