I don't know the details yet but evidently some Cavs fan was yelling racial slurs at Patty during free throws yesterday.
It was a weird story. Some fan yelling at him about the Jamaican bobsled team. Stupid, but perhaps not intended to be blatantly racist. Maybe just some idiot who thought he was funny.jteagle said:

Tough loss while leading majority of the game. Aldridge leaves early with a sprained ankle, turnovers in the end and defense. Spurs gave up 70 points in the second half!
Gonna be tough to get to 50 wins.
That just shows how underrated of a defender Aldridge really is. Should have won that game.

I'm blaming Pop for these past few weeks. We look like poop down the stretch. Execution is usually a hallmark of his teams, but this year he quit giving a **** about that type of situational basketball, apparently. Worst executing Spurs team late in games I've seen since the 90s.Ag Natural said:

Im used to his political bs, but he seems lackadaisical about us winning idk if it's cause kawhi is out or there just isn't enough talent but he seems to be going through the motions

Our two best players are out because of injury and everyone ragging on the coach. I guess all it takes is a little adversity and the "real fans" fold like a cheap lawn chair.

They're not mailing it in. The team just doesn't mesh.
Our old guys can't play defense. Even with green out on the floor with the bench, they still give up way too many points. I do question why Murray, one of our best defenders, only plays 24 minutes though.
This team doesn't have any more time to figure things out. Honestly at this point I'd prefer that they mail it in so they can move on to next year and get into a good draft position. I really don't care about 50 wins or the consecutive playoff appearances at this point. I just think it's important to have everyone healthy, rebuild in the offseason, and come back and try to compete for a championship next year. Because they aren't anywhere close to competing for one this year, nor will they be if they do have a complete healthy team. It's just too late to be playing this terribly.

I hate losing, and I HATE bad basketball. If you get beat, you get beat. It's basketball, it happens. But getting beat because you're playing bad basketball rankles me like few other things in sports. I can't stand it, man. It's why I have trouble watching Aggie basketball even though I love my Ags. Bad (or inconsistently bad) basketball is a personal affront to me. Yes, that's melodramatic sounding. DGAF.
